Chapter 13

CRISTINA'S POV

*One Week Later*

"Christina!" Andy called. I grabbed Emma and walked down the hall to Andy's room.

"Yeah?"

"Let me see Emma." He whined, holding out his arms. I walked closer and placed Emma on his chest. He wrapped his arms around her, kissing her forehead. "Hey Emma, it's daddy." Andy smiled at her. I turned on the light, sittong on my side of the bed. He held his finger out and she reached out, wrapping her tiny fingers around his finger.

"She's so cute." He said, smiling at me before looking back at Emma.

"Yeah, our little cutie pie." I smiled, rubbing her back.

"You know, the older she get's, the more she looks like you." He said. "Beautiful, just like her momma." He said, rubbing her back.

"Your sweet." I said, feeling heat rise to my cheeks. Emma started to cry and I grabbed her from Andy.

"She's probably hungry, I'll be up in a minute with your dinner." I said, walking out of the room.

"No." He said.

"What?" I asked.

"After you're done feeding Emma, I want you to help me downstairs. I'm sick of this fucking room."

"Andy-"

"I've spent two weeks healing, I'm fine." I groaned and rolled my eyes.

"Fine, I'll be back." I said, walking into the nursery. I quickly fed Emma and then put her down for a nap. I walked back into our room and helped Andy off of the bed, helping him down the stairs.

"Andy, what are you doing up?" His mom asked.

"I'm sick of that room. I feel like a prisoner." He said, wincing as he sat down at the kitchen table.

"Andy, maybe we should all eat dinner in the living room, so you can lie down on the couch."

"That'd be nice." He grimmaced. I helped him up and walked him over to the couch, helping him lay down.

"You know it's going to be hell trying to get you up thoe stairs."

"I know, but it's worth it." He said and I chuckled, rolling my eyes.

"Go ahead Amy, take a seat. I'll get the plates."

"Oh, non sense. You've been up and around, taking care of everyone for two weeks. Sit down, relax."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, trust me." I shrugged and sat on the other couch, reaching out and grabbing Andy's hand.

"I forgot what the whole downstairs looked like."He said, looking around.

"You've only been upstairs for a week."

"I can still forget."

"Alright."

"When can we start using that Batman car seat?"

"When she's two."

"But-"

"There's no point in a car seat if it doesn't keep her safe. The minute she turns two, we can start using it, okay?"

"Promise?" He asked, holding out his pinky.

"Promise." I chuckled, wrapping my pinky around his. "Dork." I laughed, sticking my tongue out at him.

"MOMMY! SHE'S BEING A MEANIE!"

"For god sakes Andy, you're twenty three."

"And? You're being a meanie." He said in a five year old tone, sticking his tongue out at me.

"Whatever." Amy walked out with two plates, handed them to us and left, grabbing one for herself before joining us.
