Looking For A Way Out

"Gypsy! Are you okay?" Jess says as she runs over to me.
"Im fine"
I look down and see the blood of Oscar that was still coming out of his body.
After I closed the door, I realised that I couldn't leave Oscar there with her, so I carried him out, he was a hero today, a hero who died saving his friends.
I went straight to the ambulance and dropped him off, so that he could be covered.
As I let him go, I let out a little sob.
At that moment Tash and Toby ran over to me, followed by Kira, they crowded around me and we all have each other a hug.
Than we all let the tears fall down our scarred cheeks.
Remembering their friend.
"Rest in piece Ninja Turtle" was all that I said.
As soon as I said that a paramedic came over and took me away to get checked out.
I didn't even notice the police go in and get Monica out.
None of us wanted her to be anywhere near us, so we all told them that she will have to be in another ambulance.
After everything settled down, I sat on the back of the ambulance, staring at everything that had happened.
"Gypsy!"
Mum and dad run over, wrapping me in hugs and kisses.
I felt a little bit of a tingle, a weird sensation, I liked it.
"I thought we lost you again to her!"
"I wouldn't have let that happen in a million years"
They let out a small smile.
They sit with me and so does Jess.
"Gypsy"
A familiar voice says.
I raise my head to find someone I thought that I would never see again.
"holly? What are you doing here?"
I am a bit surprised.
"I followed Monica, she didn't take any medicines and she just went crazy, I was scared!"
That makes a bit of sense.
"What about the other kids?"
"The new maid Alice is looking after them, but now they get to go home, I went through the files and they are going next week back home. But it seems like, your already home with your parents"
That makes sense I guess.
I notice she isn't that bubbly anymore.
She hands me a folder and says
"Look at this"
I open the folder and look at the first page.
"The real parents of Gypsy is Georgie and Alfie James"
"You are my real parents!"
I am so so happy.
It's official.
"Holly- how did you get these, and where?"
She shrugs her shoulders and says
"I took them long ago, they were under my bed for a few years, I found them in behind one of those photo frames that I thought was weird"
Well that's a surprise to me.
She starts to walk off.
"Holly-thankyou for everything and I'm sorry for treating you the way I treated you"
She gives me a faint smile and says
"I know it was because of Monica, I've seen your nice side without her."
Before I can say anything else, she walks off.
I turn and look at my parents.
"I'm officially home, mum and dad"
Their smiles are beautiful, I found my way home, a way out of limbo.
I give them both big hugs, I am more than happy to have a family.
"Where did Jess go?"
I ask.
"Right here"
She says as she walks towards me.
I stand up shakily and fall towards her and give her a big hug.
Mum and dad just look at us worriedly, im happy to be home, that's all that matters.
