Chapter 3: The Past

DALLAS
When I woke up Rachel was already up playing on her phone. She looked over and noticed me and smiled.

"Good morning." I said.

"Wow those are two words I never thought would come out of your mouth." She said.

"Well how am I supposed to say stuff if I never actually have good mornings?" I asked.

"I don't know." Rachel said. "How can I help you have a good morning?"

"Smile." I commanded. Her face light up showing her happiness which I loved.

"Come on lets go get breakfast." She said. As we got out of our tent so did everyone else.

"Good morning." Everyone said.

"Uh Faith why are you wearing Dustin's jacket?" Austin asked.

"What it got cold." She said. "Its not like I'm wearing his shirt."

"Okay then." I said.

"I'm hungry." Sabrina whined. Austin stroked her arm to calm her down while she laid her head on his chest. It is official they are mates.

RACHEL
I was in my room talking to Christina about Dallas and I. She was the only person I told we never kept anything from each other.

"Did you kiss him?" She asked. I could feel my cheeks getting heated when she asked that.

"Yes." I said.

"What did his lips feel like?" My moms asked walking into the room.

"Heaven." I said.

"Oh our little girl is in love." Kylie said.

"Yeah I know with the boy I thought she despised." Mary said.

"I never despised him." I said.

"Does he know what you are?" Kylie asked. The only reason they knew what I was, was because they were hybrids too. So was Christina, Faith, and Sabrina but we kept it to ourselves. One of the perks was we lived forever but the thing was what if our mates didn't.

"Yeah." I said.

"Do you dream about him?" Christina asked.

"I hope she does cause I dream about her." Dallas said coming from literally nowhere. Why was it so easy to sneak up on me?

"Did you two have sex yet?" Mary asked.

"Oh my god no mom." I said. I was so freaked out by that and I knew Dallas was my mate but he was 18 and I was 14 soon to 15 though.

"Ouch what you don't want to have sex with me?" Dallas asked pretending to be hurt he knew I wanted him. I blushed.

"Why are you here?" Mary asked.

"Oh to tell you guys you have to move down the hall." Dallas said.

"All of us have to move down the hall to where your parents live?" Kylie asked.

"Wait we all have to move?" I asked.

"Yes into my section of the house." Dallas said.

"Where your parents live?" Kylie asked.

"Yes." Dallas answered.

"NO WAY!" Kylie yelled. I knew why my mom was like that when my mom was 15 and Dallas's dad was 16 they were in love. Until Mary stepped in and found out my mom was her mate. So in return he made my mom do terrible things to herself in front of him.

"If it's going to hurt my mom that much I won't." I said getting up and walking out of my room. Christina walking behind me with Mary.

MARY
"Girls go to Christina's room I want to talk to Mama." I said. The girls nodded and walked away. I walked into the room to see Kylie on the floor crying.

"Baby we don't have to go." I said. "If you want to go rogue-"

"STOP!" Kylie yelled interrupting me. "I just I want to have to live with him."

"Its okay I'll keep you protected and safe." I said. "He won't touch you."

"You promise?" Kylie asked.

"Of course I do." I said.

"Okay I'll go just keep me away from him." She demanded.

"I will I love you." I said. I softly pressed my lips to hers.

"Can we take the girls swimming tonight?" Kylie asked.

"Of course we can." I said. She smiled up at me.
