Second Task and Disappointment

After days and days it was finally time for the second task. I had found out the egg a couple days again. It had a poem inside, it only took a couple days to figure it out but still I got it done. If it was not for Cedric telling me what to do I would be lost. The poem had said "Come seek us where our voices sound, We cannot sing above the ground, And while you're searching ponder this; We've taken what you'll sorely miss, An hour long you'll have to look,And to recover what we took,But past an hour, the prospect's black,Too late, it's gone, it won't come back." Its was quite easy to find out. I'll I have to do is find out what they took and get it back.
As I head down to breakfast I ran into dad and he started to pull me to his office. I think I'm in trouble.
"WHY IN THE WORLD ARE YOU DATING A WEASLEY??" He screamed at me and I mean screamed at me.
"BECAUSE I LOVE HIM JUST LIKE YOU LOVE MUM I LOVE HIM AND IT BEATS DATING A MORON LIKE YOUR GODSON!!" I screamed back I am in so much trouble for that.
"DO NOT RISE YOUR VOICE TO ME YOUNG LADY. I'M NOT THE ONE DATING A WEASLEY, A WEASLEY FOR CRYING OUT LOUD A WEASLEY." He yelled back
"REALLY DO YOU NOT CARE ABOUT MY HAPPINESS? I'M HAPPY WITH HIM SO STOP YELLING AT ME FOR BEING HAPPY." I yelled. And at that very moment mum came in the office with her mad face on.
"Will you two stop the second task is about to start and also yelling at each other is not a good thing so stop." Mum stated to us.
"I'm sorry I should not get mad at you for dating him even though he's a weasley." Dad said .....I am completely and utterly surprised.
"OK, well I'm sorry for yelling and calling your godson a moron." I said and he nodded.
After that I headed down to the black lake to get ready for the task. I'm surprised I have not seen Fred all day I wonder where he is. As I stood in line with all the other champions awaiting the cannon. Once I heard the boom of the cannon I jumped up and turned in to one of my gifts from being a winxs and jumped into the water.
As I looked around the floor of the lake to find what they took for me. I saw Fleur being dragged out of the water by the professors. I also saw Krum and Cedric find what they took from them and head to the docks. I finally found what they took. They took FRED!!! I quickly swam to him and tired to undo the knot. Once I got him out I pushed him towards the docks and I watched him get there and start swimming towards shore and I started to be pulled down. I looked down to see merpeople pulling me down, I tired to use my end to get free but they still pulled me down. They pulled me down so far I couldn't hear the people yell my name anymore, it got so dark, I could not see. As they stopped pulling I was so far down and I had no strength to swim up to shore. And darkness consumed me.

⚡ time skip a week later ⚡

As my eyes started open, a bright light was all I seen. I started to look around to see that I was once again in the hospital wing. I looked to my right to see my parents sitting in the seat asleep and to my left was Fred he was also sleep. Poppy came out to see I was awake and started yelling she's up, she has such a big mouth. When they all woke up I smiled and they all started to cry.
"Did I do something wrong?" I asked and they shook their heads no.
"No, E, you have been out for a week we are happy to see you awake." Mum answered
"A week what the bloody hell happened??" And no one answered me until Fred spoke up.
"When you pushed me to shore we could not find you when I got out and we all yelled your name and I could see you but before I could get in your dad was already in swimming down to get you. When he got to shore you were out cold so I picked you up and ran as fast as I could here and we have been here since. All classes got canceled until you wake." Fred had said running out of breath.
"Oh, well that I don't remember." I said with a laugh and everyone laughed until poppy made them leave and I was told to get some sleep.

I decided to update early I could not sleep so here's the next chapter.
