The Yule Ball

A couple off days after papa announced the yule ball people have been asking people to the dance. Fred had asked me to the Yule ball and of course I said yes. The Yule ball is tonight I'm so scared. As I walked down to dad's class room I ran into mum.
"Hey mum." I said and she jumped and turned around
"Hello E, where are you headed?" She asked
"I was heading to dad's office to see if my dress is there and to see if you were there so you could do my hair." I told her
"Come on let's head down there so I could do your hair. Oh and who are you going to the ball with?" She asked
"Um... Fred Weasley." I said and a big grin appeared on her face and we continued to dad's office. When we got there dad was sitting in the chair with Aaron sitting on his lap and Jaz was on the ground playing.
"Dad, has my dress came yet it should have can me this morning?" I asked
"Yes, its over on the table." He said I nodded and grabbed it of the table and sat down in one of the chairs.
Mum had been working on my working on my hair for like two hours now and she's finally done. As I was sitting in dads living quarters someone knocked on the door. I got up and answered it. When I answered it I saw Malfoy standing there like the moron he is.
"What do you want, Malfoy?"
"I want to speak with your father." He told me
"Dad your wanted at the door." I screamed into the room and dad came to the door.
"Yes what do you want Draco?" He asked
"Father asked me to give this to you." He said handing the letter to dad and walking away.
As the night went on and the ball came closer. I was finally getting in my dress it is very pretty and gold. I hope Fred likes it. As I finished getting in my dress and putting on my make up, I walked out in to dads office where mum and dad were waiting for me. I walked out and there mouths hung open.
"Do you guys like it?" I asked
"Evie, you beautiful." Dad said and mum nodded a lot. As we headed to the great hall mum and dad headed to find all the champions to tell them about the leading dance. I went off to find Fred. I found Fred standing next to George and Katie Bell (George's date). I walked up to him and tapped on his shoulder. He turned around and stared at me.
"Fred, do you like my dress?" I asked
"E, you look very very beautiful I'm speechless." He said grabbing my hand.
"Thank you Fred, oh and all the champions have to lead the first dance. So you better be ready." I said pulling him along to see the other champions.
When we started to move into the great hall I kept hearing whisper."Is that Fred Weasley with, Evie?" Was all I heard from the crowd. As the dance started people started to join in mum and dad, papa and Poppy which that was a surprise to me. When the dance finally need it was time for Fred, George and I to get up and sing.
"Hey so the first song for tonight is called stronger." I said and I started to sing.

"So that was my song the next song is Fred and I don't know what the name of it is sorry." I said and Fred took front stage.
"So my song and I'm going to have a friend of mine come up here and sing with me, Malfoy get up here." Fred said and Draco came on the stage. What the bloody hell? Friends with Malfoy?
They finally started singing. Draco has one awesome voice. (Song at the bringing with the picture). When they finished Draco walked off the stage and headed out of the great hall.
"Well that's all the songs we're going to be singing have fun the rest of the ball bye." I said with me, Fred and George walking off the stage and another band came on the stage and everyone started to dance.
"So your friends with Draco Malfoy?" I asked Fred
"Yeah, we stared being friends last year he helped George and I with a prank." He said
"Well its to crowded in here would you like to go on a walk?" I asked
"Sure" he said and we walked way from the ball. As we walked more and more I started to get very tired. And of course Fred noticed
"E, are you getting tired?" He asked and I nodded
"Well let's get you to bed." He said and we headed to my room. When we got to my room we walked in and I got changed. After that we just sat and talked until he looked at me and .............
