Part 8: The fight

Sonic's pov:
After embracing Mandy in my arms I slowly got up and placed her on the bed. She sighed and turned over to her left side. I smiled and kissed her cheek so I can go for a run. I wrote her a note saying I went for a run and I'm coming back in a few. I went to take a shower, got dressed, ate breakfast, and left for my morning run. I ran around green hill and sat on a hill. I saw someone coming from a distance, so I kept looking at the same direction of that person who is coming closer. Then, I realized who it was. "What are you doing here Shad.." I froze as he punched my face. I went out cold....

Shadow's pov:
I looked at Sonic's body that was motionless and smirked. He soon recovered from my punch and kicked my stomach. I saw blood come out of my mouth and I growled. I threw Sonic on the ground and got him in a sleeperhold which he was gasping for air. He soon pulled out of it and did a spindash at me which knocked me and hit the ground. I blacked out .....

Sonic's pov:
I had a black eye, a sprained arm. I was not in a good mood to get beat up. I saw Shadow getting up and I held him down to the ground. He struggled to get up, so I placed my knee on his chest and pushed down hard. He screamed in pain as I squeezed into his chest. He used Chaos Spear and I flew against the wall. Blood with out my mouth. "What was that for Shadow?! Why are you attacking me?!" I yelled in anger and pain as being myself up from the ground. "Why are with Mandy?! Faker she is mine!" He shouted as I dodged his Chaos Control and ran towards him. "Shadow.. This is stupid! Me and Mandy are no concern for you! So stay out of our business!" I shouted as I kicked him so hard he flew through the wall. "Grr.... We will finish this later....faker!" He replied as he teleported from me. I started to jog home because I was in too much pain.

Shadow's pov:
You will never take Mandy.....she is mine!! She will belong to me Sonic the hedgehog!!!!

Mandy pov:
I walked back and forth between the kitchen and the living room. Tails and Silver watched me quietly. "Mandy calm down.... Sonic will be here any minute." Tails spoke as I started to feel my ear twitch quickly. Silver got up and stood in front of me. I sighed and looked and the floor. "I just can't believe he been gone for this long!" I shouted in frustration. Silver cupped my face and started to speak to me. "He will come...ok? I swear if he doesn't I will find him for you ok Mandy?" Silver explained as I smiled and hugged him. "Thank you Silver!" I replied as he hugged me back. The door opened and I gasped. "Sonic?!"

Silver's pov:
I heard Mandy gasp and I saw Sonic. Oh god he looked terrible. He had a black eye, a sprained arm, dirty clothes and he was leaning against the wall grunting in pain. "T-tails....get the....f-first aid....fast.." He grunted as he fell, but I caught him just in time. Mandy came to grab Sonic's arms as I grabbed his legs. We laid him on the couch and I saw him grab my arm. "S-silver....don't let him...hurt...you g-guys..." He whispered to me as I sat next to him confused. "Who? Sonic who are you talking about?" I asked as he slowly breathed in and out. "Sh-shadow...he started to fight me and beat me up but....I f-fought back....he wants M-mandy...don't let him touch her....please" he gasped as he felt the alcohol Tails put on his cut. Mandy held his hand and kissed his cheek. "Its okay Sonikku...its gonna be fine." She whispered to his ear as he grabbed her hand tightly. She yelped as he did it harder. I pulled her hand out of his grip. "Thanks.." She replied as she massage her hand to ease the pain.

Sonic's pov:
I saw blurry visions of Shadow punching me over and over again as Mandy laid on the floor in tears. I screamed. "Noo!!!!" I shouted as Tails, Mandy, and Silver run towards me. I started to shake and gasp for air. Tails started to give me a oxygen mask and I started to breath good again. Mandy hugged me and I started to cry. Silver and Tails were shocked to see me like this. "I let him.....he beaten me up to get... Mandy...I'm so stupid to let him attack me....I should have noticed." I sobbed as I hunged my head low. Tails sighed and Silver looked away as I kept crying. Mandy kept on hugging me and kissing my cheek.

Tails' pov:
I never seen Sonic beat himself up about a girl this special to him. They must have a thing for each other. "Sonic...don't bring yourself down. Your a great friend, hero and guy. Don't worry about this! You can do it! Believe that Shadow can never beat you at anything! Your a hell of a great guy to hang out with and be with!" I told him as he smiled a bit. "Yeah! Sonic your a good person and you always think about others! Your not a cheap ass bitch like Shadow! Your one of a kind! Remember that!" Silver added. Sonic laughed and sat up. "Thanks guys. Your always there for me and I could not ask for anything else that is this great to have great friends and the one I love the most!" Sonic replied happily.
