5am sharp my alarm blares in my ear, Titus apparent has never heard a alarm because he began barking at it. I chuckled and turned it off, I slowly got up and stretched, Titus stretched too I could tell he got a good nights sleep, his smile was as big as I've ever seen a dog smile. I say to him, " you want to go for a run boy?" He barked at me in agreement. I threw off my cloths and put my joggers and hoodie on, I didn't have a collar or a leash so I had to improvise. "Hey bud I'll be right back stay here," he looked at me tilting his head as I shut the door.
I ran up to room 777, Rehema's room, I knocked softly and called her name. She finally opened the door, I spit the words out of my mouth as fast as I could "um Rehema do you have a dog leash or a spare piece of fabric I may use?" She smiles and laughs at me, "oh honey I got a dog leash you can have, my old dog buster just recently passed away but I couldn't exactly take care of the fat old guy anyways." I laughed and smiled, "thank you so much Rehema!" I hug her and thank her once more.
I dash down stairs and open the door Titus was right there waiting for me to come back, he seemed to smile since I came back. I kneel down and slipped the collar on him, I snap the leash on and his ears perk up. We went out the door and I locked it running down the stairs on to the street. We started out with a nice slow jog so Titus could get use to the leash. Went past the donut shop I found Titus and I couldn't help but smile, the little rug rat I found was so helpless and now he's mine. We went down Main Street and look a left, time for an uphill drive and sprint, Titus knew what was coming and bolted too. We were in sync going as fast as we could, I know our destination was Jorge's gym on memorial the place where I've been training since I've been here. Id hoped that Jorge the owner would understand that my knew friend wouldn't cause any trouble and would actually be a asset to me knew schedule.I step in the locker room and one of the larger lockers are at the bottom of the floor, I grab my towel I left there and laid it down on the bottom of the locker for him to lay in. I tie his leash to the hinge. I slip on one glove and scratch Titus behind the ear, "I love you boy be good" I say as I slip on my other glove and head to the speed bag
