Chapter 5

Athena was now four and a half months along and started to have a baby bump. She knew she finally had to tell her job.

So one day she went in to talk to them. "Hello Mr. Beckett I have some news to tell you. Mr. Beckett I'm pregnant I'm four and a half months along."

"Athena you're pregnant you know our policy we can't let pregnant women work here only because for the woman and baby's safety." said Mr. Beckett.

"Wait Mr. Beckett please hear me out." said Athena.

"What Athena?" said Mr. Beckett.

"Look my boyfriend the father of my baby is over in Sweden because of his work but he'll be back in a little over two weeks. If you could just let me work until then. Please Mr. Beckett." said Athena.

"In two weeks so he'll be back you'll be what five months. Ok Athena I'm going to let you stay intil your boyfriend gets back only because you have been a faithful worker." said Mr. Beckett.

She thanked him and left by the time she got to her car her phone rang it was Ashley checking on her.

He called her every day to check on her and the baby.

AT. ATHENA A. ASHLEY

A. Hi babe how are you? How's the baby?

AT. I'm fine and the doctor said the baby is doing well and growing normally. I had a doctor's appointment yesterday. Ashley I talked to my boss about letting me dtay working for them. They have a policy that doesn't allow pregnant women to work there because of their safety.

A. What that's stupid. Besides you don't need to work anymore you're pregnant.

AT. Ashley I have to pay bills and feed Nicole and myself.

A. Alright fine work until I get back but when I do no more work for you. I mean it, babe.

AT. Ok so what are you and the guys doing?

A. We're traveling on the bus going to the next tour stop. So I figured I'd call you. Everyone is asleep but me. I had to check on you and the baby make sure you two are alright.

AT. You're so good to me Ashley I love that about you.

A. I love you too. Well I'll let you go and get soon rest. Pregnant women needs lots of rest. At least that's what I've heard.

AT. Yes Ashley. Thank you and I'll get some rest. Bye.

A. Bye.

END CALL

That night Ashley went to sleep and had a nightmare about Athena and he baby. Ashley woke up screaming. "Athena no the baby not the baby." Ashley screamed so loud it woke everybody up.

The guys still didn't know about the baby but after that and what happened next.

When Ashley screamed bloody murder for Athena and the baby Andy woke up too and ran out the big room and grabbed Ashley waking him up.

Everyonr was standing around. "Ashley. Ashley wake up. Wake up it's. just a nightmare Athena is fine the baby is fine." said Andy.

"No. No they're hurt they're hurt. My baby, my baby Andy." said Ashley putting his head in his hands.

"Andy is Ashley alright?" asked Jinxx, Jake and CC.

"He's fine just a nightmare. Ashley it was just a nightmare." said Andy.

"It was real." said Ashley.

"Jinxx hand me Ashley's phone." said Andy.

Jinxx grabbed the phone gave it to Andy.

"Here I'm calling Athena you'll see it was just a nightmare. she's fine." Andy.

A. ANDY A. ASHLEY AT. ATHENA

A. Hello Athena no it's Andy look you really need to talk to Ashley he had a really bad nightmare about you and the baby. (Then Andy gave the phone to Ashley. "See here it's Athena.")

(Ashley looked at him then took the phone)
A. Athena!

AT. Yes Ashley what is it?

A. 'sigh' are you alright? 'sigh' Is the baby alright?

AT. Yes I'm fine. Yes the baby is fine.

A. Oh thank goodness.

AT. Sweetheart you just had a bad dream. I miss you I love you.

The phone call went on for a bit.

END CALL

Andy looked at the others and said, "Why don't we go up front. Let's give them some privacy."

"Athena's pregnant and Ashley's the father?" asked Jinxx before Jake and CC could.

"Yeah she is. She's nearly five months." said Andy.

"So that's why he calls her everyday." said CC.

"Yep! Look guys the only reason why I know is because I was near him when he got the news. Ashley was going to tell you he just needs time with figuring out what they are going to do. But I guess now he doesn't need to tell you guys." said Andy.

Just then Ashley walked out hanging the phone up and looked at the guys and spoke, "I guess I should have told you guys sooner. Athena and I are having a baby. I'm sorry I didn't tell you. I've just been trying to fix this and figure it out." said Ashley.

They stood there quietly then Jinxx walked up to him and spoke, "Congrats Ashley on the baby. So you're still reeling at the fact you're going to be a daddy. We're happy for you and Athena aren't we guys?"

The others spoke, "Yeah congrats."

Then Jake spoke, "Tell you what I figured it would have been one of us first to be a daddy not you Purdy boy. Just saying."

"Just one thing Ashley you are so careful how the hell did you get Athena pregnant?" asked CC.

"CC don't ask that." said Andy shaking his head.

"No it's alright I'll tell you. Athena doesn't take birth control because she's allergic to the ingredient in it and she was told by her doctor that it would be nearly impossible to get pregnant . Doctor got it wrong." said Ashley.

"Well I guess your sperm was just very determined to get through and make that baby for her." said CC.

Andy, Jinxx and Jake all turned to CC and said, "Really CC! Dumbass."

Ashley looked at him and gave a little laugh and said, "I guess you're right. How else to explain it."

They finally all went back tobed Ashley didn't have anymore nightmares.
