Prologue

Mr. Z, the mysterious director of G. O. D. S. was sitting down, looking at the new recruitment list.

The first one on the list was Hazel Levesque. She was born during WW 2. She supposedly died with her mother, Marie, in an oil accident in Alaska. If that's true, then A, how is she still alive, and B, how is she still 13, the age that she died?

Second was Frank Zhang. A Chinese-Canadian who's mother died while trying to save her comrades while in Afghanistan serving a second tour. Can supposedly shape shift.

Third was Leo Valdez. Mother died in fire at machine shop. Young Leo is said to start the fire. Can make contraptions. Lives on the street.

Fourth was Piper McLean. Daughter of movie star Tristan McLean. Can compel people to do whatever she wants. Calls it "charmspeak".

Fifth was Jason Grace. Mother Beryl Grace was DWI when she died. Only living family member is Thalia Grace.

Sixth was Annabeth Chase. Father works at University of San Fransisco. Girl genius. Natural architect.

Last was Percy Jackson. Father died when he was a year old. Mother Sally Jackson married Gabe Ugliano. Fast runner. Likes water.

Mr. Z pressed a button. "Argus, I need you to find seven youths for me. Sending details to you right now."
