The sarcasm, the bitching, I've had it all before. Nothing new.
We've been here for two months now and me and Ronni have became pretty close to Ricky, Chris, Ryan, Devan, Josh and Angelo. We spend all our time together!

But everybody else in the whole campus hates me! It's what always happens, no one ever likes me, and I'm fine with that.
I tried not to let their words get to me. It wasn't easy but I got used to it.

I rushed down the corridor, you'd have expected it to have calmed down, a university full of adults but no. Even at 19 I had to deal with it.
"Goth"
"It's not Halloween yet"
"Queer"

That one I never understood. I had never had a relationship with a girl. I had never had anything with a girl, despite everyone betting on mine and Ronni's friendship exceeding into more, it didn't. The two of us were nothing more than friends.

I was tripping over my own feet, trying to get away from everyone and down to the library when I stumbled into the strong grasp of Chris.
"Well hello there beautiful." he smiled as I lifted my head to see his gorgeous smile.
"Hi. Sorry." I still felt awkward around the guys despite being friends with them for two months.
"Where are you off to?"
"Library" I bit my lip, I felt like such a fucking nerd.
"No. No you're not. We are off to the coffee shop with Ricky, Ryan and Ronni." He demanded.
"Okay." I grinned childishly, not knowing what to do'

We arrived at the shop to see the three off them chatting away, Ricky less than the others.
It was clear Ryan liked Ronni and I was questioning whether she felt the same. It sure seemed that way, but she's had no interest in a guy for years. She had her legs spread over him like a foot stool. And he was holding onto her inner thigh.

We took a seat and to my surprise both Ricky and Chris went to put their arms around me, yet Chris got there first. I felt comfortable with his arm around my shoulders and Ricky's hand resting on top of mine. Weird. But comfortable.

"Shall I order drinks?" Ricky stood up.
"I'll take a black americano with an extra shot." I replied.
"Someone likes it strong" Chris laughed "get me the same"
"I like my coffee as black as my soul." I wink at him.
"I like it as black as my heart"
"Shit. Sorry my hearts bubble gum pink."
"Stop being emo shits" Cam shouts over, head back in the hunger games.
