Chapter Nine

Where we last left off: "I love you Blake because even though you were suffering you saved someone else" I hugged him and kissed him. "I love you Jennii"

It's been about 9 months since we last saw Jacob Harrison. We graduated and Blake is going to college soon far away as for me. I'm dealing with jobs trying my best to get a good one with my job experience. Sammie and Oscar are doing better and finally got a restraining order on that horrible man. Dylan is okay, at least he says he is. He'd been working non stop on a new job he got and is going to the same college as Blake.

I've been meeting up with Alex, Ella, and Jacob Alex's boyfriend. Since Blake and Dylan were going to be leaving we were going to do a farewell party for the both of them. The college was a good 12 hour drive from where we were. But Blake insisted on visiting every weekend and so did Dylan. They still feel that I was unsafe and that they didn't want to leave me alone back here. I had to force the both to go.

If I hadn't Blake would be literally camping at my house making sure I was under 24/7 surveillance. I love him but I think that's very unnecessary and sometimes couples need alone time and space as well.

It was the night of the party. I wore a colorful crop top with some white high waisted shorts and some nude wedges. My hair was messy as usual in a bun. My make up decent looking. Taking a last look at myself in the mirror. I heard my phones ringtone very loud and ran to it. I quickly checked the screen.

"Hello?"
"Hi Jennii! It's me Sammie what time is the party again?"
"Oh it's in about an hour from now at my house"
I heard a few voices in the back and a quick okay from Sam just to hear her hang up on me.

"Okay then" I threw my phone back on my bed. I looked down. "Ugh I don't want my feet to hurt all night" I took my wedges off and slipped on some sliver flats. I sighed. I heard a knock on the door running down stairs quickly. My parents and Kenjii had left to Arkansas for the weekend leaving me with an empty house for a party. 

I opened the door to a smiling Blake and Dylan. They were dressed up decently. Blake sporting a grey button up shirt with black jeans and black ankle boots, Dylan was wearing something similar expect blue jeans with rips in them. I smiled. "Hello you handsome devils" the boys smiled and took their turns hugging me. "I brought some good wine Jennii" Dylan pulls out a wine bottle from behind him. "Awe how thoughtful! I'll keep it locked up with the rest of the drinks" I grabbed it and brought it to the alcohol cabinet. I heard the door close behind me and I peeked my head out from the kitchen where the cabinet was.

I saw Sammie and Oscar together wearing somewhat similar colors. "I see an adorable couple" I went to hug Sammie and Oscar. "Awe Jennii" Sammie flushed red. Another knock on the door. I opened it to Alex, Jacob, Ella and another person I hadn't met before. "Hey! Alex, Jacob, Ella and I'm sorry I don't think I've met you before!" 

The tall guy that came as Ella's date I'm assuming was a bit tan and wearing similar to Blake and Dyl. "I'm Eric, I'm Ella's boyfriend." I took a moment to take it in. "Boy-" I looked at Ella. "Yeah...it's been a month..or six?" Ella did a little chuckle. "Six months so like since we graduated?" Eric nodded and chuckled. 

"I was from a different school and was kind of away for awhile so that's why she didn't really say anything. But she told me all about you. It's awesome to finally meet you in person." I tried my best to not gape. "She's trying to say nice to meet you too." I looked at Blake who had his arm around my shoulder. I just nodded. The door had closed and everyone was here. I had cooked food everywhere on the table.

Everyone was gathered and I took a deep breath. "Alright everyone...before we eat, I'd like for everyone to say one or two good things to Blake and Dylan before they leave us." Blake looked at me and smiled. "Jennii, your making it sound like we are going away forever!" Dyl pouted from across the table. "Well I mean it is a 12 hour drive, so it's quite a long way away from here." Dyl grinned a bit. Sammie coughed to get our attention. "I will go first, Blake you are like my big brother to me, and I can't wait for you and Jennii to get married!"
