Chapter Five

"Jenni!" I walked into the hospital room. I looked at my sister who was lying there all bandaged up and tired. I rubbed my eyes that had been crying. Blake held onto my hand. I turned to my brother in law who was sitting down holding my nephew. "Mickey, are you okay?" My little nephew nodded his little head. "Michael, are you okay?" I turned to my sister

"Yeah, I am" He looked so tired. My mom held my shoulder and said "Jenni, take Kenjii into the kids area" I took the sleepy Kenjii from Blake and walked towards where the little kids play. Kenjii opened his eyes. "Jenni?" I turned and saw my other two sisters with their husbands. I went to my sisters and hugged them. I started crying once more.

We hugged for awhile. but then Kenjii woke up. I played with him while the others went to go see Anna. Blake came and sat down next me. Kenjii looked up at Blake and grinned. I smiled.

Blake held my hand and kissed my forehead. I looked at him and smiled. Kenjii came over to us and sat on my lap. I hugged him. "Jenni, what wrong?" he said in is high pitch voice. "nothing, its nothing" I smiled at him. "Okay" he shrugged and went to go play.

Blake looked at my face. "She'll be fine" He held my chin. "Dont worry" I nodded and hugged him.

Three weeks later~

"Hello?" I walked towards Mom and Kenjii who was eating. *Jenni what are you doing right now?* I paused and looked at the two. "eating why?" Dylan paused. *Oh, because Sarah wants to double date later tonight...and i called to see if you were free later tonight* I looked at Mom. "Let me ask my mom first" *Oh okay* "Mom, Can I go on a double date with Dylan??" Mom turned and looked at me. "Okay but make sure you get back at ten okay?" I nodded my head. "Okay Dyl, I can go and let me tell Blake.

*Okay, see you at seven* as soon as I heard the click, I went to Blake's number and pressed call. *Hello?* "Blake, its me, Dylan and Sarah want to double date with us" *Oh okay, what time?* "Seven, and I have to be back home at ten" *okay, will do* He hung up and I sat down and continued eating.

I went to go put the dishes in the sink and i felt my phone vibrate. I wiped my hands and answered the phone. "Hello?" *you really should check who your phone caller is instead of picking up* I paused and let the familiar voice sink in. "Shawn?" *Yep, how you been Jenni?* "Uhm, I've been okay..." I paused as he chuckled. *Good, well thank you for the notes* Notes? i thought.

I paused again. oh yeah! The notes for AP Biology! "Oh no problem anytime" He chuckled. "Oh well nice chatting with you but I have to go, bye!" I hung up and put the phone in my pocket. I washed the dishes and felt a little tug on my pants. I looked down at Kenjii who was holding Blake's big hand. "Hi Blake" He smiled all smug "Hello" He kissed my forehead. Kenjii giggled. "Jito, go and play with your toys okay?" He nodded his head and dragged Blake along with him. I smiled.

Right there and then I started to wonder what else 'Shawn' wanted to talk to me about. "Jenni" I jumped and looked behind me at a dressed up Dylan. "Dyl! you look handsome" I smiled. Dylan hugged me. "Of course, I always do"

He winked. Then I noticed that Blake was dressed up too. I chuckled quietly to myself. I walked to the counter and took a clean paper towel and dried my hands. I went upstairs to my room and quickly threw on a dress. "Jenni are you ready?" I came rushing down the stairs with my flats. "Yup!" lets go!" I kissed Kenjii on the cheek and brought him to moms room and said bye to her.
