Chapter X:  Life Is A Bundle Of Joy, But You Have To Earn It First

Ellie's POV:

Anilae! Lewis! They were making me choose! This was outrageous! I can't choose! They were my bestfriends! How can I choose!? They were always like, ''If you are my true friend, you're on my side, right?'' and all. How can I choose? And then yesterday, they came to me and they were bursting at me. Why can't it be Cecelia and Lewis or Cecelia and Anilae!? It would be so much easier for everyone!

Urgh! And how do you put this thing on again? Mom's friend Kirianna was coming over today and she made me wear this stupid strapless dress that didn't even come down to my knee. Why can't I put on my normal casual clothes? It's not like we were going to meek Barak Obama or something, it was just her friend. Her friend. And I believe she wasn't the president of the United States. Finally! I fell down on my bed after 30 minutes trying to wear this dress, but, MISSION ACCOMPLISH! I tried to breathe a little but I have asthma, so breathing will be a problem. I slowly searched through the drawers and found my inhaler. Puff puff! 

''Ellie! Ellie! Mom's friend has a son! And he's so incredibly cute!'' Carol jumped on my bed. Carol, Carol, Carol.

''Aren't you too young to date?'' I raised my eyebrow.

''Yes, but you're not.'' she smirked. Carol was so childish I've never seen this side of her in my entire life, well, since the day she was born ofcourse.

''I'm sure a 10-year-old will not date me Carol.''

''No silly, he's your age. And he's black!'' now this was just racist. Wait, Kirianna's white, maybe her husband was black.

''No. I'm pretty sure he will not even bothered to glance at me.''

''Why not? You're pretty hot.'' Oh okay, what had seriously went inside her brains?

''Yes, hotter than a desert. Now, go and get ready.'' I said sarcastically. Carol was still in her yellow shorts and white tank top with her rainbow flip-flops. If a guest comes and visit at our house, she will totally dress up like a princess.

''Okay, and try to put on some make-up will ya'?'' she skipped out of my room.

''Yeah right.'' I muttered under my breath. I combed my hair so it was nice and wavy. I put on my flats and turned on the computer. I chatted with Delilah and Sariah for awhile while I was waiting for dinner. I was at my zone, blogging, when I heard a gentle knock on the door.

''Your Mom wanted you to come downstairs.'' said a husky voice. It was probably Kirianna's son. I couldn't really hear the voice clearly, since I had my music turned on. I opened the door and the mysterious guy wasn't there. I walked downstairs and sat on the dining chair. I saw Mom and Kirianna making dinner, so I took out the plates and all.

''Hey Ellie! I haven't seen you in a long time! Look at you now.'' Kirianna smiled. True, the last time she saw me and was all chubby and bubbly, which was about 12 years ago. 

''Hi! Long time no see for you too.''

''Hey Kirianna!'' Carol sang.

''Hello.''

We plated up the food and chatted while we were waiting for Kirianna's son.

''Where's Kayden?'' my Mom asked. K-Kayden? Oh wait, her Kayden was black. The Kayden I know was pale white. Big difference.
