Gabby's pov- Today was the day Harleigh and I get to leave the hospital. Matt told me that everything for her is set up at the firehouse. We have decided that she will be at the firehouse with us when we're there and when she gets older, she will go with us on the calls.
I signed the discharge papers and Matt handed me Harleigh's carseat. I placed the 3 day old inside and we walked out to the car. "I can't believe we've been parents for three days." Matt said with a smile on his face.
When we arrived, I picked up the carseat and we walked in. I saw a playpen thing for Harleigh, a swing, and a bouncer in the room where the couch and kitchen is. I put the carseat down, and as soon as I did, the alarm went off. "Engine 51, Truck 81, Squad 3, Ambulance 61, Battalion 25, Warehouse fire, 23 elm street." I looked at Matt. "Be careful." He kissed me and then kissed Harleigh, who was awake since the alarm went off.
I picked Harleigh up and gave her a bottle.
