You Were There All Along (Chapter 2)

Ricky's POV

It was the morning after the concert and everyone was still pretty worn out from all the chaos, so thankfully today was our day off. I opened the curtain of of bunk and hopped out. 

"Rick, Your up!" Meagan cheered before kissing me. Meagan and I have been dating for about 2 weeks now, but sometimes I feel like she is only with me because Chris doesn't want her, but maybe that's just me being insecure for some reason. 

"Eww, stop that!" Angelo yelled from the front of the bus. Meagan pulled away from me and gave Angelo her signature death glare, making him back down a little. I chuckled as I grabbed one of our band shirts and a pair of black jeans, and stepped into the bathroom and slipped on my clothing and just stood there for a minute.

"Do I really like Meagan?" i whispered to myself. I don't think she is the right girl for me. She's great and all but i feel like I'm being used, just so she can get to Chris, but she is just wasting hers and my time. He doesn't think of her that way, i know he doesn't.

I stepped out of the small bathroom, and went to the front of the bus and sat in the passenger seat next to Chris who was driving. "Hey man, do you know were im supposed to be going?" he asked.

"Today is our off day, we can go were ever we want," i answered. Moments later Chris' phone rang.

"Hello?....Ashley?....How are you?...Maybe i can pull a few strings and help you guys out?....Cool maybe we can hangout for a little bit when we get there?... Alright see you then... bye," He was grinning from ear to ear. 

"What did you do?" i smirked. 

"We are going to have a CD signing, Ashley's friend met this guy at the concert yesterday, and she wants to see him again but she doesn't know were he is from. I figured i would help," he answered trying to bit back his grin.

"Or you just want to see Ashley again, and you are trying to use her friend to get to her, am i right?" i chuckled. He didn't answer, all he did was bite back his grin and dial a number into his phone. "What are you doing?"

"I'm pulling strings, leave me alone," he said maybe with a little too much excitement. I rolled my eyes and walked back to talk to Angelo.

"I think he is really starting to like this girl," i laughed.

"Well its yours and Meagan's fault, if you guys wouldn't have started that stupid prank, we wouldn't have to work on our off day!" he teased punching my arm. 

"Yeah, maybe you're right," i said rubbing my arm. 

"Well lets hope Ashley's friend doesn't find that guy she met. I saw her friend at the concert, she's hot," he said putting his thumb up for approval. "She looks like a girl you would date, Rick." i shook my head.

"I've, never seen or met her," I argued.

"You will today," he grinned widely. Hmmm, maybe I have something to look forward to today. I mean Meagan is cute and all, but like i said, I don't think she really likes me like she says she does. 

"Why are you so against me and Meagan dating?" i asked trying to change the subject. 

"Really, bro? Do you even know her? She is a girl that will preach to you that she loves you, and once something better comes along, she will stomp all over you," He explained. "That's what she did to all her other boyfriends, if you would pay attention. She's bad news, man. Get out while you still have a chance," he said before Chris stopped the bus at the entrance of a camp ground.
