Act 8

Nialls pov

"its getting late, lets go back home." Li said as he rubs my sides, i nodded. we've been here for at least an hour, so pruney. walking out of the lake and back to the truck, i slipped off my wet clothes and put my dry purple undies back on. Liam was already dressed and just getting in the truck.  when i got in, Liam gave me a whistle, saying "damn baby, i might just have to have you right here." i blushed hard, he always know how to make me blush. i think its awesome after how long we dated, he can still do that. "Li.." i calmly turn to him, he gives me a cheeky smile. "drive." i laugh.

when we get back, we were both really tired. "i'm gonna take a shower, babe. feel free to join if you like." Liam says.

"calm down boy, you horny man." i laugh.

"just saying." he goes into the bathroom, then pops his head out and says. "love you, by the way." giving me a smooch from where he is.

"love you too." i say, sitting on the bed. when he closes he door, i lay back getting comfortable. i lay there for a few minutes but then i remembered the notes under the bed. i swiftly sit up and look for them, they haven't moved so that's a good thing. opening up the notes, i was met with big red letters with horrible grammar. they weren't nice words, they were just absolutely horrible. i started to tear up from all the threats, why would Li keep something so ugly? i didn't notice that the water has been turned off for a while and before i had the chance to put them back, Li opened the door. 

he rushes over to my side, holding his towel on his waist. "please, don't tell me that you read those, baby." he says, holding my hands to calm me down. "why do you have these?" i asked confused, he looks down. "i didn't want you to see them, i was gonna throw them away when you weren't looking."

"but Li this is someone threatening to hurt me!" i say loudly.

"i would never let someone ra-" 

"don't say that word please." i cut him off quickly. "how long has this been going on?" i ask.

he lets out a small breath. " a couple weeks." 

"why didn't you tell me?"

he gets up and sits on the bed and pulls me on his lap. "cause i didn't want you to worry. i would never let them touch you. i promised i was gonna protected you and damn it, that's what i'm gonna do." he looked angry but i wasn't afraid, i knew Li would never hurt me. he pulls me close to him, by the waist and i rest my head in the crook of his neck. "i just wished you would have told me." i say quietly.

"i know, i'm sorry. i just get protective and i don't want anything bad to happen to you." he says, kissing my cheek. 

"nothing bad will happen. cause i have you batman." he gives me a smile and turns to me. 

"can we cuddle now baby?" giving me those puppy eyes.

"of course we can."

he sets me down on the bed and goes to change into some boxers as i get under the covers. he goes to the over side and gets under and pulls me to his chest.

"do you know who those letters are from?" i ask.

"probably some redneck. like i said don't worry baby. i got you." he says and pulls me into a kiss. "lets go to sleep now, okay?" 

"okay, love you Li." i rub his hairy chest as he smiles in content. 

"love you too princess."

after a few hours, i couldn't sleep, my mind was still on those letters. it freaks me out, not knowing who it is. what if they do something bad next time? what if i get really hurt? what happens if i die? what will liam do?! i guess all of it got to my head cause Li told me. "go to sleep baby, dont think about that." he says with his low sleepy voice. 

i bury my head in his chest, trying to think of something else, one thing did help me fall asleep. i guess picturing Liam and i married with kids helps me calm down. noted.

a little short chapter but a little taste of whats to come. *sips on tea, while trying to look mysterious*
