April 24, 2016 - Same Day
The car ride home was all but, too quiet. Why are they so silent? Was it because of the phone incident? Are they telepathically communicating through their minds about my punishment? I really am dead.
Now I need to make it up for them by being my world reknown 'good daughter everyone wants' side. Just a great deal of household chores in front of my expedition.
Before I even got to go clean the first dish my parents frantically call me over.
"Anya sweetie..." Mom begins with a slow, but soothing tone. She looks at Dad for a second with a big grin.
You know it's never good when they add sweetie after your name. I didn't even get to write my will yet. My parents are evil.
"Your dad and I got you an amazing present." Mom says with excitement.
Please don't bring out the wooden spatula. Wait what? A present? My eyes widen with shock because I was sure I was going to get a beating. I hope it's a new headset.
"Pack your bags up you're going to the FFG program in America for the whole summer! You and your sister! Don't worry you'll be living with grandma and grandpa. It's going to be quite an expierence!" Dad says with jazz hands.
Lord kill me now. Were they serious? Me away from all my friends for a whole summer? At my grandparent's place? Oh, hell no, this is a joke right?
I started chuckling at the situation. Us living in America? We've never even moved out of the Europe, not even out of the country! There's no way they would send us to America!

July 5th, 2016 - First Day of Summer Vacation"Flight 17 has now arrived to Dallas, Texas. Welcome to America." The loudspeaker said.
They sent us to America.
They sent us to America?
They sent us to America!
Blessy and I were sent to America with Aunty Rose on the flight. She helped us put our bags into the trunk of her blue Lexus, as the American car company goes by.
Blessy loved road trips and exploring in general. That's why she explored through the Christian religion and got close to God.
True, the whole expierence was frightening but, interesting at the same time. Who wouldn't want to explore new lands and point out all the odds? Totally a greenhorn here.
"You kids must be starving, let's go to BurgerKings. They have really big burgers and you'll love their fries." Aunty Rose says with excitement. She must really love Burger Kings. I stuck with pasteries in Paris. Call it steryotypical, I don't care.
"Yes, please." Blessy says in English. Great my English skills are going to be put to the test here. Just great. Splendid really. Hopefully it won't be as bad as my French grammer - I mean grammar. Ha, I caught myself there. See what I mean?

July 5, 2016 - Same Day"Three Double Cheeseburgers to go please." Aunty Rose said to the cashier lady.
I really am hungry. My stomach just keeps on growling. Whoop~...
All three of us arrive at the blue Lexas and Aunty Rose let us eat in the car! Truth be told, me and Blessy used to purposly drop our food in Mom's car when we were little monsters. We still are the little monsters from back then. Don't tell Mom okay?
"I'll drop you off at your Grandparent's house. Oh before I go, your Grandpa and Grandma are extremely forgetful. Just a warning." Aunty Rose says while eating her burger.
"Why is it a warning?" I ask with uneasines while I furrow my brows.
"Oh, you'll find out." Aunty Rose says, smirking with ketchup still at the peak of her lip so it looked as if she had a red mustache catastrophy.
Gross.~+~
July 5, 2016 - Same DayWe arrive at a cute little colonial house. In Paris, our apartments were built closley together. So seeing this house have a 10 feet spread on all the houses looked like a couple of teeth gaps from a kid
I hope we get the top room. I hate heights, but if I don't look at the ground I'm fine and dandy. The problem is I always look down to check how high I am and how long it takes til' splat. For whatever dumb reason, only God knows that dumb reason, sadly.
"Have fun in America kiddos!" Aunty Rose says while riding off into the sunset - erm I mean into the tree. Wait what how did she just pull the car to the side that fast. The fudge? Jet lag. I'll just blame jet lag.
"Blessy and Anya how do you do!" I turn my head to see Grandpa waving his hand with no effort so his wrist is being flicked left and right. Grandma is sitting next to him putting down her knitting equipment and smililing with squinted eyes. Aw they're so cute together.
"Come, come darlings we ordered Chinese food." Grandpa says with jubbilance in his scratchy old voice. He must really like Chinese food. Even though I never tried it. I hope there's no fish in them. I hate fish with a passion. Sorry Nemo that includes you. Never will I enter an aquarium. I'll save my story there for another time.
Blessy and I enter the house which took me almost ten steps once I felt my feet could run for miles. You know those times when your legs feel ready to finish a marathon, but the rest of your body is questioning when they could pass out yet. No? Just me? Okay.
Grandma gives us a grand old hug and kisses both cheeks. She pinches Blessy's cheeks, but thankfully not mine. Grandpa just comes over and shakes both of our hands.
"Margrat and Susan, right?" Grandma asks to us. Blessy tilts her head out of confusion. Did they mess up our names? That's not even close. I guess this is what Aunty Rose meant by "extremely forgetful". I mean it's not like I remember their names so I can't judge. I'll just stick with "Grandpa" and "Grandma".
Grandma sees our confusion and quickly replies. "Oh right, Blessy and Anya, excuse me dears." Grandpa shakes his head while chuckling.
"Sorry Grandpa and Grandma, but Blessy and I already ate at BurgerKids." I tell them.
Blessy nudges and me and says "BurgerKings". Ah, wrong name.
"I meant BurgerKings. Silly me." I clear up the confusion with a wave of my hand. Am I magical or what?
"Nonsense, BurgerKids is nothing compared to Singapore noodles!" Grandpa exclaims with pure loyaless to a foreign dish.
Guess I'm not magical. BurgerKids for now I guess.
"Just a little bit of the food then." Said Blessy.
New continent, new expierences as they say. Wait I don't think anyone says that. Well whatever now we will.
