Chapter 4: Split ends

Mack sat there crying as he realized he stands no chance against this monster he created, as he sat there bawling he thought of something, the figure was going for Isabelle. Isabelle looked at her dad pace back and fourth wondering what he could do, that's when a knock at the door was heard "Yes?" Her dad yelled, in response the door slowly slid open and a shadowy black figure with a baseball bat stood, it was Mack. Isabelle yelled for her dad to shoot him and quickly he did, the bullets flew threw him and showed no sign of pain. "Try and try but only Mack can save you, and too bad he is to weak to even stand up anymore!" Isabelle screamed for help but the town was empty, her time was up. So she thought, quickly Mack ran in and tackled the figure but as he did so the figure threw him off and started punching him, quickly Mack reached for a book on the ground and bashed the figure with it. As the figure laid limp on the ground Mack picked up the baseball bat and smiled "It's over now..". The figure sunk into the ground and disappeared, it sneaked up behind Mack and started choking him, Mack struggled but managed to throw him onto the wall, but the figure teleported to the other side, Mack blinked in confusion "How?!" he asked  " I have something you don't boy!" Mack thought for a second before getting pushed out into the street, the figure loomed over him and grinned, as it stood there Mack saw a shiny emerald in its chest that was hidden by smoke when it was stronger. Mack yelled for Isabelle's dad to hand the gun over, but as he was doing so the figure started pounding his head into the dirt. The dad threw the gun over to him but it was out of reach, and eventually he blacked out from the pain. The figure turned to face the father and daughter "See.. you have no help, no where to run, and no salvation." he walked toward them slowly and cackled. Mack was drifting in and out of consciousness, but then he saw a light and from the light his mothers voice "Reconcile with your demons child, save your soul"He blinked and looked at the gun, he pulled it too him and yelled "DUCK!!" Isabelle and her dad jumped down as the figure turned around only to get shot in the emerald "You fool.. WHY!!" Beams of dark red light shined out of the cracks in the gem, and from there it imploded with a foul shriek, and there was the end of the figure. Isabelle picked up Mack and hugged him, while in tears she mumbled her sorry's. Mack forgave her but felt he needed to face his problems before staying with them. That was the end of Mack's unforgivable suffering. 

AFTERMATH 

Mack spent 13 years in prison, Mack was 28 when he got out, the poor boy had been beaten a lot in prison. Mack ended up sealing the deal with Isabelle and they together had 1 boy named Shaun, Shaun died at 9 from a car,his dog crossed the street and he followed only to be hit with a car.  Mack killed himself at 52 from depression, Isabelle lived a full life till 84, she never remarried. 

AUTHOR'S NOTE 

I loved this book but i don't know... i didn't want to continue on "THIS" book, so i ended it a little bit earlier than i would have wanted too, but a new book with be out soon for you people to read and enjoy! peace peace.
