Taiga started "My father was and alcoholic, so sometimes he went back home drunk" she continued "He would always beat me up when he lost at a game of cards with his drunken friends. he would also put his cigarette near my skin making it burn a bit..." she continued telling me
"He would always push me off the stairs and sometimes almost killing me.. this is the reason why I always wear long sleeved shirts. he never even treated me like his own child... and as of my mother... she... i never met her... I was told my mother died while giving birth to me" she finished with a tear rolling on her cheeks until she sobbed loudly and I comforted her
Taiga's POV
Hotaro was comforting me "Shhhh... Its okay Taiga, everything will be okay, I'm here for you" Hotaro cooed which made me calm "Thanks Hotaro!" I said with a warm smile and he returned it "Do you wanna go get some ice-cream?" I said and she nodded "Sure! Lat's go!" She said dragging me to the door

"I'll have chocolate sir! And same with this idiotic brunette I'm with!" I said cheerfully "Hey! I'm not an idiot!" Hotaro shouted at Me and I stuck out my tongue and I could see little tints of pink in his cheeks what's up with him? I thought "Hey do you have a fever?" I asked while putting my forehead above His' which made him blush even more "H-hey, are you alright?! You're so red!" I shouted worriedly "O-of course I'm alright! You idiot!" He shouted "Sure, sure ya don't have to yell!" I said "Well, I'm sorry" He muttered the last part quietly "Hm? What did you say? I didn't quite hear you..." I said mockingly "I said I was sorry okay?! So stop teasing me!!" He shouted "what a great couple" said the ice cream seller but quietly which made us blush and make things awkward "Here you go kids!" The ice cream seller said giving us our icecreams "Let's just go now o-okay?!" Hotaro shouted while grabbing my hand I tensed at the sudden contact "S-sorry..." Hotaro seemed tense too
