Chapter one

Louis' POV

I wake up and walk to the bathroom, I look in the mirror it's pretty much the same thing everyday, I walk downstairs.

"Good morning mom" I say.

"Good morning Lou did you sleep good last night?" she said, she hasn't been the same since the divorce last year, my dad left, I hate him. He barely calls anymore I don't care though.

"Good" I said to her.

She gives me my breakfast, and then I was off to school. I hate school, it's not because I have to work or I have to wake up so early it's Zach Mcfinlin he's the bully of the school, I hate him so much, I guess you can say I'm a geek I have one friend Natalia I've known her since primary school, she's the only one that knows I'm gay other then my mother, sometimes I think people can tell I don't know.

"Hey Lou" I hear someone say that brings me from my deep thought.

"Hey Natalia" I say we always meet at the same spot everyday we walk to school together.

"Sorry I was late my mom was talking about something" she says in a sad voice.

"What?" I say a little worried.

"We might move" she says.

The words bounce in my head, she can't move she's the one that stands up for me if she moves I'm on my own in that school if your not popular your nobody, and that was me a nobody Natalia she's a cheerleader she's popular.

"But you can't move if you do then I'm all by myself" I say in my sad voice.

She looks down "Sorry but I might not it's only if my dad gets the job in Ireland" she says

"Ireland? that's so far"

we don't talk the rest of the way, we finally get to Oakland high school and as soon as I walk in Zach is there.

"Oh look guys it's the little nerdy kid that has no dad oh are you gonna cry Lewis aww poor little nerds gonna cry" he says.

All the people in the hallway laugh.

"Stop" I say.

"What did you say" he said getting closer clenching his fist.

"I said stop" he gets closer and swings, I feel the pressure hit me in the gut, I fall to the ground. I don't fight back.

"Got anything else to say Lewis?" Zach says.

"It's Louis not Lewis" Natalia says.

I look up "Oh look the nerd has his only friend standing up for him" He laughs a little.

"Natalia why do you hang out with this loser? "he asked

"Because he's my friend just leave him alone." she says.

"Fine whatever." They all walk away she puts her hand out to help me up.

"Thanks" the day went by fast and before I knew it I was walking home.

I was walking the way I always go when I saw a moving truck next door from my house I went over there and just stared.

"Hey" I hear someone say I look up.

"He got the job Natalia?" I say looking down.

"Yeah, sorry but, there's a kid named Harry thats moving in I hear he's nice" she says.

"Oh just promise that you'll call and text me everyday"I say still upset.

"Promise Lou I'll be back every break we have please don't be sad" she says Lifting up my head

"Yeah" I say and run in my house

"Lou wait" she says running after me

I run in my room and lock the door and just cry she can't leave she's the only one that understands.
