This is a little extra for you all, set ten years after the last chapter. This means Bruce and Steve are about 26 or so. It's quite long but this is the last update I'll do on this. I hope you enjoy this extra chapter :)

I woke up like any other day, putting on my glasses and getting ready for the day ahead. Except this time I didn't get out jeans or even my work clothes. Today I had to navigate my tailor-made suit. I stood in the bathroom staring and the tuxedo-styled clothing hanging in front of the shower. Today was the day. Today I was finally getting married to Steve.

Ten years ago to the day he asked me to be his "adorable boyfriend". We even ended up going to university together so we wouldn't be apart. I thought back to the nights we spent together and I smirked. Nothing much had changed. Still lost in my thoughts, I was brought back to Earth by a knocking on the door. I wrapped a dressing gown around my near-naked body and opened the door a crack.

I couldn't register what was happening until it was too late and I was pushed against the wall. My brain clicked into gear and I realised the human in front of me was Steve. "Well hello there Bruce. Fancy seeing you here," He whispered in his perfect American accent. I grinned and kissed him, my arms wrapped around his waist. When I pulled away, he said, "I wish you'd been that confident the first time I'd kissed you."

I thought back to the kiss in his hallway, all the way back in school. "I've had practice since then," I mumbled. I pushed him off of me and opened the door. "You, sir, need to get ready." I said. He raised an eyebrow at me. "Am I supposed to b somewhere today?" He winked. I laughed and he planted another kiss on my cheek, leaving me to get dressed.

A minute or so after Steve had gone, my door opened and Tony bounced in. "It's today! It's today! It's today!" He jumped onto my bed and grinned at me like the Cheshire cat. "Excited lover-nerd?" He asked me. I ignored him and went into the bathroom to get ready for a shower. I was just putting a towel around myself when he burst through the doors. He gasped at me and I stood motionless for a moment. "Tony! Get out! I shouted. He wasn't moving, but instead looking me up and down. I quickly wrapped the bath towel around myself and went into the bedroom to get away from Tony's prying eyes.

Tony hadn't managed to stay in a long-term relationship and his on-off love-life with his assistant, Pepper Potts, was currently in the off position. Lucky for me, he had always been there in my most embarrassing moments. Now was one of them. "You can't blame me for taking one last look?" He said. I rolled my eyes and started getting into my suit without him seeing any more of me. "I'm sorry mate. Just memories is all. Like when you wanted to try kissing a boy for the first time," He trailed off, knowing I'd be thinking of that hour we spent together 'experimenting'. "Are you going to be my best man or are you going to be like an ex-lover?" I asked him, getting slightly annoyed. Tony giggled. "An ex-lover? I wish, Banner."

I walked up to the double doors so I was perfectly in the middle. Tony was behind me and to my left, and Steve's cousin, Bucky, was behind me and to my right. "Ready guys?" I whispered. They both grunted a yes and the doors opened. An impressive piece of classical music played as I walked down the aisle. Correction, as I walked down the strip of red carpet in the registry office. We couldn't quite afford the big church wedding.

I looked to Steve and he smiled at me, showing off his perfect white teeth. I felt a bit stupid walking down some carpet, but at least my Mum was crying. Whether that was from disappointment of me declaring my love for Steve in law, or for genuine happiness that I was happy could be argued. When I got to Steve, he held my hand in his and kissed me on the cheek. "You look so adorable," he whispered into my ear. I blushed slightly and prepared myself to say my vows.

"Do you, Steven Rogers, take Robert Bruce Banner to be your lawful wedded husband?"

"I do."

"Do you, Robert Bruce Banner, take Steven Rogers to be your lawful wedded husband?"

"I do."

The ceremony continued quickly, although I tried to savor every single moment of it.

"With this ring, I, Steven Rogers, take the, Robert Bruce Banner, to be my husband, to love and to cherish, forever, till death do us part." Steve said, placing the ring on my finger. The registrar laughed slightly at Steve's random wording but continued swiftly. I said the same and then we made our own vows.

"I promise to love you until my heart is removed from my soul. Until that point in eternity, you will be mine and I will forever be yours." Steve said loudly. Our friends and family all cooed at his romantic words. I blushed, knowing my vow was so lame compared to his. "I promise to love you like a Nutella sandwich; with care, with passion, and with an everlasting unspoken joy to be with you." The crowd sniggered and Steve moved a loose curl from my eyes.

"You may now share your love in the first kiss of you marriage." The registrar concluded. I bit my lip and I could almost hear the tension and suspense from our friends and family watching. Steve raised an eyebrow at me before leaning forwards. He paused a centimeter away from me and our eyes met. He was reveling in the suspense. Knowing he would wait for an age for the fun of it, I went up on my tip-toes and pulled his head down to mine. I kissed him like it was the first time back in his hallway. Steve put his hands on my cheeks and pulled me close to him. We pulled away when we'd run out of breath and our little audience applauded us. Even my Mum was clapping. I suppose she was happy for me after all.

"To mister and mister Rogers!" Called Tony. Everyone cheered and left the room behind Steve and I, as we went downstairs to the reception room. Steve pulled me aside as our guests were handed drinks, and pushed me against yet another wall. "You'e making this into a habit you know," I whispered. Steve kissed my softly on the side of my neck. "Would you rather I stopped?" He muttered. I let out a sigh as he snaked his arms under my jacket and to my shoulders, moving himself against me in just the right area. After a short while, I remembered my Mum was literally around the corner and I stopped him. "Maybe later, yeah?" Steve looked sad until I said, "Unless you want my Mum to catch us?" He laughed and took my hand in his, walking us into the reception room to meet our guests.

It took ten years and a lot of love but this was it. We were married. We could be us.
