Alternate Ending

Chara's POV

(Continued from where Chara enters the grey house of Frisk)

As I turn the corner to the kitchen I catch a glimpse of something blue and pink. I quickly turn my head so see what had startled me. My heart dropped as soon as I saw who it was. Frisk.

They stood there like nothing had happened to them. Not a gash or bruise was seen on their skin. Their black-brown eyes stared right into me as I gulped in nervousness and smiled awkwardly in confusion. All they did was stare at me with a straight face, that was until I pulled out my knife.

I felt something curl around my ankles and pierce them in random places as they were pulled from under me and I face planted onto the floor causing a tooth to burst my upper lip. As I looked up I saw Frisk with tears in their eyes.

"Why..why?" They asked with a trembling voice. "Why did you make me watch them suffer?" They sniffled as they wiped their eyes with the sleeve of the jumper." Why do you exist?"

A large golden flower appeared in front of me facing Frisk. This was what pulled my ankles as I see the slightly bloody thorns on its stem.

"Aww, don't cry Frisk," It turned to face me. It had a black jagged mouth and black eyes and white dots for the pupils. "I'll take care of this thing," Then it started laughing, which sounded distorted.

Fear kicked in and I struggled against the stem and thorns as I kicked my legs to try and get them off. I felt the stem tie itself around my torso and eventually around my neck. The thorns pierced my neck as my eyes widen but were forced to lower once more. All I could see was the shoes of Frisk as they turned away from me. My vision faded as I lowered my head.

As I took my final breath, I remember what damage I had done, and I was proud of it.

Frisk's POV
________

I sniffle as I hear Floweys voice telling me that it's over. I turn round and look at the body of Chara, something that had spawned from me. It was peaceful looking at it now, knowing that it isn't going to harm anything or anybody again. Flowey retreats as the thorns were extracted and went back to his usual self.

"Well, it looks like the deed is done. Now can you finally reset please!"

I nod and pull up the end screen. For once I was actually excited to get a run over and done with. I can go back to my daily route and help some of the monsters, not fight them.

I go through the same thing, again and again but this time it was different. I think of the times when Chara was killing or when she was at her nastiest.

I fall back into the void as I call it and then the reset button appears asking if I would like to reset. I move the heart over to yes and tap it. As I fell back into the mountain, I smiled knowing that Chara wasn't going to hurt anyone again.

Before I knew it, I fell back onto the bed of a thousand golden flowers.
