Minutes ticked by leisurely as both, Asuna and Raizo, laid on the numbing ground and being utterly immobile. As an answer to some kind of an artificial prayer, delicate rain slowly started drizzling over the area as the ash grey clouds cried in melancholy. Where were the others at this point in time? Why weren't they coming out already to fix this case? Those were the pending questions that shadowed the claggy, rainy air with the misty twin men silently approaching the unconscious two with their razor claws leaving lengthy trails along the moist mud now appearing like some sort of a mini crop circle. One of them grumbled dully every time it took a step forward, steadily closing the distance dividing these two parties.
Oh, how much fun it would have! The original body-less being couldn't exhibit its excitement on its now absent face, but indeed, deep down, an undying feeling of happiness was lacing about. The other one also followed in a rhythm as it merrily slithered forward. Just as one of them was only a few feet away from Asuna and Raizo, a blue spirit flame shot towards its direction, halting the path and generating an enormous pit. The figure cocked its 'head' to the side, looking dumbfounded and confused as the mist scattered in frenzy like disturbed grains.
.
.
From within the shadows emerged Yuichi along with Mizore. The purple head hurriedly jumped off her icy path to search the surroundings for her two fallen siblings with Yuichi quickly transforming into his wolf form and readying his hands as his signature flames ignited majestically. Soon after the short scan, Mizore gasped aloud the moment she laid eyes on Raizo and Asuna, running towards them in spiking alarm. Yuichi looked her way for only a millisecond before shifting his gaze back towards the two black figures as they glided his way after regaining composure and getting into an alert stance.
"...Figures, burn to ashes!"
Following his incantation, numerous groups of spirit flames shot towards the misty forms, burning them to the ground with only their shadows being outlined in the strong blue hue. The silver head smirked in proud satisfaction, but just as quickly as the beings fell, they stood up again like zombies, unharmed.
"...Tch..." A quiet yet bothered whisper slipped out of Yuichi's clasped lips.
"Ooooiiii, Yuu-nii! Mind if we join in on the fun???"
From above the dull grey sky appeared Natsuno gliding down his created gale and was being closely followed by Nikki. They gracefully landed in front of the now annoyed Yuichi, sinking their feet in the riled-up mud and turning back in awaiting response.
"...Mmm. ...Be my guest." Yuichi answered with a faint grin as he concurrently motioned forward and treaded back a few steps, passing on the baton to the adamant twins.
"Heh-heh... You creeps better be on full standby because I'll be gladly taking you with me to the depths of the Earth!!!" Nikki shot provokingly as she summoned her spear from above her head before readying it with burning eyes, the faint metal clanking sound rang out ever so slightly in attendance.
"Hey, now hold on just a minute! Don't you go hogging all the fun AGAIN!" Natsuno pouted in clear reproach, but Nikki merely reacted with a wink added with a giggle before breaking out into a dash towards one of the body-less figures.
Giving no reaction time to the black body, Nikki thrust her weapon dead center at the heart spot with pinpoint aim and then violently twisted it before using the marbled earth to launch the delirious being in the rainy sky like a rocket. If only Asuna and Raizo were awake to see the favored heroic rescue slowly folding right in front of them...
"Heh, well, well, that ain't half as bad as I thought. But still nowhere near as good as me...!" Natsuno spoke in a boasting tone as he, in turn, took off towards the opposite misty creature.
