"Taxi!!" Destiny yelled running up the sidewalk. She couldn't believe how crowed it was in NYC. They have been waiting for a taxi since 5, it was now a quarter to 7. To make matter worse, its started raining about 10 minutes ago. Not a little drizzle either, pounding rain that small umbrellas could hardly withstand.

They were drenched from head to toe. If it weren't for the warm spring weather, Destiny was sure they'd caught hypothermia.

Finally a taxi pulled up and the trio got in happily.

"Where too?" The taxi driver asked.

"The tra--in stat--ion plea--se." The words came out broken due to Destiny's shivering mouth.

Cassie on the other hand was nestled in between the two woman quite warmly and she layer her head on her mothers chest.

She didn't understand why they were moving, but since mommy and auntie Des was going to be there, she had no problem.

Once they arrived at the train station, they were ecstatic to find their train already there. They boarded it and sat down.

As the rain pounded on the window and the train wrestled against it, Destiny's mind traveled to their farewell.

-Flashback-

Destiny was currently standing in her house, now deserted, with her bestfriend Tanya and a few friends.

Destiny was avoiding Tanya at the moment. She wanted to make it to New York and Tanya was absolutely furious at her.

One, she hadn't really told her she was moving until Saturday morning.

Two, when she told her, it had been in front of a priest, that she had purposely called for the occasion, so she wasn't too happy to not be able to kill Destiny.

Three, she was mad Destiny was leaving now and not until three months together like they planned.

Currently though, Tanya was stuffing her face with the half red velvet and ice cream cake Destiny bribed her with. (Authors note: That's actually my favorite cakes! There's nothing like red velvet and ice cream cake!)

She was mad alright, but the only time Tanya would be able to resist cake is...well never.

Destiny was certain that even 7 feet in the ground she'd find a way to eat cake.

As Destiny mingled with her friends a car beeped outside and it's significance dawned on her.
Time was up.

As she gathered her things, her face was suddenly plastered against soft breast.

She reached and hugged Tanya back who was starting to cry slightly.

"I'll miss you Des. A lot. " Tanya was fighting back the tears but they escaped anyways.

"I'll miss you too Nya, but we'll visit each other all the time, it'll be like I never left." Destiny voiced was laced with uncertainty.

"Girl don't lie to me. You know long distance relationships sucks and most likely never works." Tanya scoffed making Destiny laugh.

"I know and as cliche as this may sound. I will, always, always love you." Destiny squeezed Tanya hard.
