'Ahhh, you are back where is Ray' Mrs. Armstrong asked the driver who just entered her garden
'madam , there is something I have to tell you' the old man said standing close to her.
'that can wait till later.....Ray baby' she called out as she moved passed him.
'madam its about Ray'
She stopped abruptly and turned to face him 'I don't like the look on face'
' ma.... '
' what is it about Ray?' she asked cutting him off
'I am sorry madam'
'for... '
'there you are'
They both turned to face the owner of the familiar voice.
'my love, welcome home' she said as she walked up to her husband and gave him a kiss square on the lips.
'the joy of my home coming. Where is Raymond?,'
'welcome home sir' the driver greeted him
'Mr. Ashwood' Mr. Armstrong acknowledged him
'I believe you were saying something, Mr. Ashwood ' Mrs. Armstrong said to the driver
'yes madam, on my way back home I was ambushed and Ray w... Raymond w-was adopted'
'I don't understand' Mrs. Armstrong said obviously shocked by the news.
'I said... '
' I heard you Ash I just don't understand what you said' she said out loud. Her husband placed his hands around her protectively.
'interpreting what you just said, our son is missing'
'yes sir, I am really sorry. I tried my best to stop them, but I couldn't they were armed' he said apologetically
'it's ok' Mr. Armstrong said to him
'it's not OK, it's not OK as long as my Ray is out there going through God knows what. It's never going to be OK until my Ray is home' she said in low voice as she broke down in tears in her husband's arm.
'honey, calm down I will do everything within my power to get Raymond back home to you' he said to her.
'I believe you've informed the authorities about these' Mr. Armstrong said after a while of comforting his wife
'yes sir'
'did you make sure to lay emphasis on the fact that his my son'
'yes sir'
'honey, let's go in' he said looking down at his wife who was weeping silently on his chest 'get me the head security Mr. Ashwood'
'right away sir'
