"Ok, so let me see if I have this right, king- I mean Asgore took care of you and taught you magic, frisk came and killed everyone and you used magic to send them into the ruins?" Papyrus is leaning against a wall while I sit on the sofa. So far I've explained everything that has happened since I fell.

I nod. "Asgore only taught me healing magic, but when I saw frisk killing him the knowledge of how to use it for battle just... Appeared in my mind." Papyrus once again raises his non existent eyebrow. "I believe the 'souls' of the other monsters helped me." At that statement papyrus looks up and sighs. "I really hope this isn't a trick this timeline..." He mumbles.

"You're turn now. I know it may be hard but... Please tell me about timelines and... Frisk." I ask papyrus.
He removed his cigarette and smushed it in a nearby ash tray.

"There's really not that much to say. Frisk just showed up one day, and killed all of the monsters." He looks up at his brothers room. "Not sparing a single one."

"Then they Reset. And do it over and over again. This is the 1,000th timeline with Frisk in it. If you are really who you say you are..." He takes out another cigarette and lights it.

"Then we may actually be able to stop frisk this timeline." One of his eyes glows orange slightly. I tilt my head to the side. "Why does only one of your eyes glow?" I ask, curious.

He places a hand over his other eye. "It hasn't glowed in a long time. I broke my skull awhile ago, the bone healed but not my eye." An idea pops into my head. I gesture for him to come over to the sofa. "Let me try healing it."

He sighs and let's out a puff of smoke. "Kiddo, the royal scientist already tried to heal it, I don't think a baby bone like you would be able to fix it." I pat the spot on the sofa for him to sit down. Im determined to fix this. "Cmon, it's not like I could do more harm." He gives me a look that definitely shows he doubts me.

I stare him down.

Finally he sighs and slumps onto the couch. "Heal away kiddo." I smile and put my hand on his skull. He flinches at my touch but then relaxes. I take a deep breath and close my eyes.

I transfer my power into my hand and focus on the skeletons body. All his energy flow is normal... Except for the part connecting to this eye. There's something dark... Really dark. Not dark as in color but as in evilness. I focus on my power entering his energy stream, but slowly. I don't want to overwhelm him. I hear papyrus groan a bit and i slow down the flow even more.

When I get some of my power into his energy flow i swirl it around the energy block in his eyes. The gold slowly fills the darkness, then fades to orange as papyrus' energy flows through the new passage. I slowly withdraw my energy then remove y hand from his skull.

Job done. Hopefully. When I open my eyes I see a boney skull right in front of my face. "Ummm.... Did it work?" I ask. His eyes narrow.

"What did you do to me?" I flinch at his words. "Well there was something blocking your energy err... magic flow so I just healed that section with my magic and now your magic should be able to flow to your eye." Did I do something wrong? When Asgore died, I gained the knowledge of advanced healing too. Im guessing it was his knowledge before.

Papyrus backs his face away from mine and lifts his hand. Both his eyes glow and as he moves his hand upwards the pillow goes flying to the ceiling. And right through it. My jaw drops. Papyrus grins and chuckles nervously. "That might've as well been a pillow made out of solid titanium with how powerful that was."

"D-did you have that much power before." I ask still staring at the hole in the ceiling. Papyrus is also staring at it. "Nope. Kiddo, I think you just doubled my power." That's absolutely insane. He just flung a pillow and made a hole in the ceiling.

"Well, looks like I owe you now kiddo."

I look over at papyrus. He looks a bit nervous but trusting. Seems I've dispelled his doubt. A grin grows on my face.  Papyrus' nervousness grows.

"Well... How about teaching me magic?"  I grin and tilt my head at him.

"Didnt you've shown to be pretty talented at magic already."  He says tapping his skull.  I shake my head.  "No I mean, protecting with magic."  Papyrus' eye sockets widen.

"I need to know how to protect the monsters.  And for that I need to learn magic.  I need to learn how to... How to fight."  Those last words were hard to say.  I've never wanted to fight before.

But, when I meet a relentless killer.....

I shake my head.  "Just teach me how to be strong enough to protect everyone."  Papyrus walks towards me then leans his tall frame over me.  His whole face is dark except his glowing orange eyes.  I feel scared, but stand my ground.  I will get these lessons.

The will to protect fills you with Determination.

I hear a sigh.  "You are one determined kid.  A good one though.  Maybe in the morning we will take a visit to Undyne.  We need to check out why you reacted like you did when sans turned you blue."  When papyrus turns to walk up stairs i fist pump and inwardly scream yes.  Papyrus looks over his shoulder and I immediately stop my victory dance and just pretend I was straightening out my shirt.

"You can sleep on the couch.  Sans already set it up like a bed."  I look over at the couch.  Sure enough it has sheets, blankets an a pillow.

"Thanks pap-"  I turn around to thank him but he's already gone.  I sigh and climb into my 'bed'.    As im about to fall asleep I smile and clutch my stick close to my body.

Hey dad, I've made some new friends.  Their names are papyrus and sans.  You said a skeleton could help me and they did!  They are very kind, sans is adorable and considerate, while papyrus is strong and protective.

I nuzzle my face into the blankets.

I think I'm going to have a good time with these skeletons...
