"Indie will you be ready in 10?" Holly called from her bedroom.
"Yeah, I won't be long," I shouted back, putting the finishing touches to my makeup in the bathroom mirror.
Tonight was the party at The Hideout. I would be lying if I said I wasn't a little bit nervous. I had known Luke for a few days, and when I was around him I got all jittery and clammy. Maybe I was coming down with a bug or something.
I could tell Holly was excited though. After the meeting with Luke, Ollie and the twins at the pizza place, she hadn't stopped chattering. She said it was simply because she was excited to go out and get drunk, but the lingering glance she gave Ollie when they were leaving didn't go unnoticed by me.
Don't think that I'm not onto you, girl.
I hadn't gone too overboard with my makeup, as I didn't think that it was always necessary. Just the usual foundation, eyeliner, and mascara, with a touch of tinted lipgloss.
Looking at myself fully in the mirror, I was pleasantly surprised. The dress/two piece I had bought today at the mall was gorgeous-tight fitting but still fairly classy. My hair was straightened, falling down to the middle of my back in a sleek brown wave.
I didn't want to seem too over dressed, so instead of opting for heels, I wore high rise white converse. I also didn't trust myself enough to go to a party in six inch heels. I pulled on my leather jacket, and was ready to go.
"Girl you're looking hella fine!" Holly exclaimed as I walked back down the hallway and into her bedroom.
I grinned and curtsied, "So do you! That dress looks amazing!"
It was true. Holly was wearing the purple dress that she had bought on our shopping trip, and her short blonde hair had been curled slightly. She slipped on her wedge heels-which happened to be quite small for her-and grabbed her jacket.
"Ready?" She smirked, linking our arms together.
I grinned excitedly, "Hell yeah."

Lets just say that many people would be grateful that The Hideout was on the outskirts of town. As we drove down the street in Holly's car, we could already hear the loud music and the buzz of teenager's chatting and laughter.
I was relieved when we finally arrived. I wasn't sure I could stand much more of Holly belting out 'I Want It All' from High School Musical 3. She knew all the words, and it always drove me crazy. She even did the dialogue at the beginning- though she had to play both Ryan and Sharpay's parts as I refused to be part of the performance.
We were intentionally fifteen minutes or so late, which meant that when we arrived, everything would be in full swing.
I stared around in awe as we entered through the mass of people. The Hideout had been transformed. Literally. All the tables, chairs, and furniture had been removed, meaning that there was a huge floor space. A stage area had been set up against the back wall, where the band were playing music with thumping beats.
The coffee counter was being used as a makeshift bar area, and I could see Ollie's familiar head of hair behind it, working as the bartender. I caught Holly glance at Ollie before turning back to me.
