********

I spent a few hours at the coffee shop with the boys, switching between helping out in the back kitchens and sat on the counter to stop to have a chat with them every now and again.

My favourite spot was on one of the corner counters, where I was able to lean against the wall during a little break and watch the boys work.

Well, when I say watch 'the boys' work, I kind of only mean Luke.

There was just something so fascinating about him that made it really difficult for me to drag my eyes away. He seemed to concentrate A few times I had almost been caught checking him out, but I managed to snap my eyes away at the last second. The lads already teased us both, despite our countless groans of 'we are just friends'.

Being caught checking Luke out again and again would just be putting more wood onto the fire.

"Enjoying being a slacker Allens?" I heard a voice call out and instantly knew who it was before I even looked up from my coffee.

"Oh yes, loving every moment," I stuck my tongue out at Luke who was stacking shelves. I could barely see him among the tall silver shelves, which was surprising as the boy was practically a skyscraper.

I hopped off the counter and weaved in between lots of shelves to get to him. He looked extremely attractive today, wearing a faded branded white t shirt which contrasted against his tanned skin and made his arms look particularly drool worthy.

"Do you want me to go and get your phone so you can take a picture?" He smirked. Shit.

There we go again with the not so subtle checking out. Not seeing any point in denying it, I simply shrugged and busied myself with reaching for another box of supplies so he wouldn't see my flushed cheeks.

"Wasn't aware there was a law that stated that you can't look at people," I mumbled sarcastically.

I saw Luke's amused expression still staring at me from the corner of my eye so I may have 'accidentally' dropped a box on his right foot.

"Oh em gee, I am super sorry, that was a total accident!" I put a shocked expression onto my face but he saw right through my facade and narrowed his eyes at me.

"Not like you did that on purpose or anything is it you cruel woman," Luke's eyes suddenly lit up for a second though I thought I must have imagined it.

"Hey Indie, pass me that bag of sugar would you?" He asked innocently, and because I am a gullible human being, I reached up onto my tippy toes and pulled the sugar bag from a high shelf.

Just as I thought I had it all under control, the bottom of the sugar bag completely split open and I was suddenly covered with it all.

I froze immediately, my hand still in the air with the now empty bag light in my hand.

That cheeky bastard.

He knew that the sugar bag had a hole in the bottom. That's why he asked me to pass it to him, so he could watch me be covered in tiny sticky granules.

And from the fact that his shoulders were shaking in laughter, I think he was proud of his little prank.

All because I had dropped a tiny box on his little delicate toes. Bless.

"Do you realise how long it will take me to get this all out of my hair?" I said through gritted teeth.

He just collapsed into a round of chuckles again, not giving me a legible reply.

I heard the kitchen door swing open and Josh strolled in, whistling. Once he saw us amongst the shelves he too began to chuckle at me.

"Indie, I hate to break it to you, but it's not snowing outside, which means that the white flecks in your hair are really bad dandruff!"
