Chapter 1

Addison's POV

'Get up you lazy piece of shit,' Ricky, my flatmate, shouted running into my room.

'Ugh' I replied then realizing today we were going to Slam Dunk festival to see some of our favorite bands.

'Get up we leave in an hour' Ricky said.

'Shit, get out of my room so I can  shower' I replied.

I had a shower then dried a straightened my hair. I put on a pair of ripped black jeans with a cropped jumper that says strong on it and a black&white checked shirt tied around my waist. I did my make-up as normal (Image above is outfit/make-up). I walked into the kitchen of our small apartment and got myself a glass of orange juice. 

'Ricky, let's go pick up Erin and Jai (her boyfriend) now and then we can get McDonald's breakfast' I said like an excited child.

'Okay, just doing my hair' He shouted from the bathroom.

'You and your bloody hair' I said laughing.

He shortly appeared and we got into the car to go and pick up our other friends that were joining us for this weekend. We ate McDonald's and then made our way to the festival.

'I think we so go see Pvris like now' I said.

'Agreed' Ricky said

'I wanna see Roam though' Jai moaned.

'How about me and Jai go see Roam and you go see Pvris. We will meet you guys later' Erin suggested

'Bye love birds' I shouted.

'Off to see Pvris whoop' I screamed.

'Addi, I need to give you something' Ricky said handing me an envelope. I opened it and it was VIP passes so we could go backstage and hang out with the artists.

'Ricky, you're the best.' I said hugging him so tight he nearly exploded.

'Well you let me live with you' He said smiling. We got to the stage Pvris were playing on and I couldn't see because I'm an actual tiny human being so Ricky lifted me onto his shoulders. They finished their set and we decided to go backstage because we were going to try and meet You Me At Six. I saw Josh from YMAS and I started walking towards him when I walked into a guy.

'Omg I'm so sorry, I'm they clumsiest person' I said looking into his beautiful blue eyes. He had longish hair with blonde highlights and a nose ring on each side of his nose. Damn he was cute.

'Hey, it's fine,' He said in an American accent,walking off.

'I already ship it' Ricky said and I punched his arm as we continued to walk towards Josh.

The first day of the festival was over and our passes meant we could go to the after-party. All I could think about was that guy from earlier. I hope he is here.

'Shots?' Jai asked us.

'Boy you know the answer' I said downing a shot and then screaming. We were all dancing and it was amazing.

It was like 1am and we were still at the party. I was starting to feel the alcohol now and I couldn't see any of my friends anymore so I just decided to walk around and look for them. All of a sudden I tripped and I felt someone catch me. It was the same guy from earlier.

'Must be fate' He said smiling and setting me down on a barstool

'Thank you' I slurred.

'It's fine, I'm Jordan, by the way' He said

'Addison' I said 

'Can I buy you a drink?' He said

'Coke and Vodka please, and could you help me find my friends. I can't find them and they are my ride home' I said

'Umm sure,but you seem drunk enough how about a coke with no vodka?' He said politely and I nodded 'So what brings you here then?' He asked handing me my drink.

'I just love music but have no musical talent so I like watching other people perform. What about you?' I asked.

'My band are an act here. Have you heard of the Ready Set?' He asked

'Unfortunately not, Oh wait there are my friends' I said gesturing towards them.

'Oh okay, before you go. Here's my number and my bands set is at 2pm tomorrow on the attic stage' He said smiling.

'Thank you for the drink, I'll be there ' I said giving him a quick hug and stumbling towards my friends. The alcohol had definitely hit me now as I was struggling to walk in a straight line.

'Whoa who was that?' Erin asked

'A guy called Jordan, his band is playing a set tomorrow at 2, I promised I'd be there.' I said grabbing Erin's arm for support so I didn't fall.

'He's cute' She said knowing it would annoy Jai.

'Boyfriend right here yanno?' Jai said we all laughed as we got back to the car. The festival was only 20 minutes away from mine and Ricky's apartment so we were all staying there tonight. 

We got back to the apartment and all fell asleep almost instantly expect for me as usual. I swear I was nocturnal. I'm so glad I only work weekdays. My job is a a department store on the makeup stand. I earn enough and Ricky is a drum teacher. Not bad for a couple of 23 year olds.

My phone buzzed. 

Unknown number: Hey, it's Jordan. Don't forget my set tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing you there. Hopefully you're not too hungover xx

I replied : Haha hopefully. Currently can't sleep bc to excited for your set tomorrow lmao x

He replied soon after: I'm so tired,just got back to the hotel. I'm going to sleep. See you tomorrow xx

He replied with two kisses,does that mean he likes me or he's just drunk off his head right now. He is cute though. I decided to listen to his music until i fell asleep. He had an amazing voice. Shortly after I fell asleep.
