Sammie's POV

I still can't believe who's here. As more and more people gather in I keep my eye on Niall. Does he know who I am? Will he remember me? Many questions race through my head as Izzie shakes me.

"Sammie!" She yelled, finally getting me to snap out of it. I pull my eyes toward her. "Sammie this is Justin! He would love to dance with you tonight." Izzie says with a catching voice. "Sorry," I apologize to Justin, "I have someone in particular." I watch as he walks away and I see Izzie is extremely pissed. "I'm really sorry. But I want to go talk to Niall." I tell her calmly. She looks at me and shakes her head. Then walks away. I take my eyes to their original spot, but Niall and his friend were gone. Now I know I won't ever see him again.

Izzie's POV

What the hell? I find her an extremely hot guy and she blows him off for her bully. She is the stupidest person I ever met. Don't get me wrong, I do love her...she's my best friend. I just don't want to see her get hurt in any way, that's all.

Niall's POV

I need to find Sammie. I just need to apologize. I feel horrible, it's one of my biggest regrets, bullying her. I only did it because I thought she was really hot and my girlfriend was suspecting that I liked Sam. I just need her to know that.

I'm getting no where. I need a beer. I go over to the refreshment tent. I grabbed a bud light (I didn't want anything else there) and went to pay. I look up from my beverage to see Sammie before me in line. Now is my chance.

I tap her shoulder and she turns around. "Hi." That's the best I can up with.... She looks at me then smiles. "H-Hey..." she stutters. She seems to remember who I am, at least I assume. "You probably don't remember me, but I know you. You're Sammie Becket," the look on her face led me to believe that she doesn't know who I am, "I just want to apologize. I bullied you a lot in high school. I regret it every day. I only bullied you because I was really starting to like you and my girlfriend suspected that. I wish that I just told you back then instead of making your school years miserable." I look at her eyes. She was starting to cry. "I forgive you Niall." She slightly wept. She does remember me. Now I shall watch as she pays for her drink and slips out of my life forever.

She gets up to the register and pulls out a small wallet from her purse. She looks at the cashier then me. "I'll be paying for his too." She tells him as she slips him her card. "You really don't -" I didn't finish. "I want to. I figure that I better buy you a drink if we are going to catch up." A smile formed upon her face. "Thank you." I say as we walk out of the tent and back to the crowds.

Louis' POV

I look around for Niall and I can't find him anywhere. Where the hell could he have gone? I looked away for two minutes and he vanished. I start walking in hopes of finding him. When I ran into a pretty blonde. She's cute, not my type, but cute none the less. "I'm so sorry," she says loud enough for me to hear, "I'm just looking for my friend. I can't find her anywhere." She looks right at me, then scoffs. "What?" I ask perplexed. She narrows her eyes, "I know you. You and Niall bullied my best friend all through high school. You are a huge ass." I process what she said. "Wait! You are Sammie's friend, uh..." I completely forgot. "Izzie Hew." She says stating her name. "Right. You were a total bitch." I say laughing. I then felt her fist hit my chest. "I was a bitch? You were the douche that never left my friend alone!" She yells causing a scene. "I was definitely a douche. But you were a bitch! You never once stood up for her." And with that we fell silent. "It was wrong of me to never interfere, I know. But I didn't want it be bullied too." She says into my ear. "That was selfish." I say into her's. She let out a tear. Neither of us are proud of what we did in the past.

"You haven't by any chance seen Niall recently, have you?" I ask. "No, I can't find Sammie." She looks at me and wipes her face. "Let's stick together and look for them." I say to her grabbing her hand. She nods and we start our search. Within 30 minutes we found them talking. "I just want you to know, that I didn't want her to be talking to him." Izzie admits to me. "Neither did I." I claim.

Sammie's POV

I will say, I'm really happy I ran into Niall. I've needed closure for far too long in my opinion. As we walk out of the tent I smile, I'm finally happy for the first time in three months. I look at Niall and all the horrible things he said to me years ago rushed back. I tried so hard to forget it all, but it never fully left me. I put that all to the side for right now. I watch as he takes a sip of his beer and I drink my Dr. Pepper. I would've had a beer too, but I'm not 21 yet. I will be in a few months. He can drink because he's 22. How lucky. I wish I could be at least a little tipsy for our conversation. "Sammie," Niall calls me, "let's start over. Please. I want to get to know you and I want to listen." I smile and nod. Im in-love the idea.

"So, what do you do now-a-days?" I ask intently. He looks at me and rubs his bottle, "I'm a sound engineer. And I play the guitar sometimes." I stand in awe. "Really? I thought you were going to be a professional football (soccer, which ever you prefer) player." He laughs, "I wasn't really cut out for it..." he rubs his neck. "I think otherwise." I state. He looks at me confused. "Even though you bullied me I liked to watch you play. I thought you were hot and I liked seeing you in your uniform." I say blushing. I immediately regret saying that. I look at him and he smiles. "I'm flattered." He says to me. "I'm interested to know what you do." He glances up ahead then back at me. "I'm a chef, and restaurant owner. I also sing when I have the chance." I say in confidence. He falls silent and stops behind me. What did I say? "Niall? Is everything alright?" He snaps back to reality and grabs my arms. "You cook? Professionally?!" I nod in delight. "What restaurant do you own?" He asks me with wonder in his voice. "The Devil's Chonce," I tell him, "but, it's no Nando's. I love that place. It's my favourite restaurant." I look him in the eyes and notice he is filled with excitement.

I think I'm liking the idea of a start over.
