Marcel doesn't see Niall for the rest of the day which stresses him out because he doesn't know where Niall wants to meet and he needs to prepare for what Niall thinks "going out" should consist of.

He ends up going home early, because he was having a borderline panic attack. He /needs/ to know what's happening. Lying down in his bed staring at his ceiling, he thinks about Niall and how he's only known him for two days (well ten if you count him going completely AWOL on him for a week) yet he's already obsessed. (which is bad considering he has no chance of ever being with Niall.)

Besides, Marcel can't remember the last time he actually went out which stresses him out even more. So he just stares at the ceiling, thinking about Niall and trying to regulate his breathing.

He's still in his work clothes when he hears someone knock on his door.

"Marcel! It's Niall. Lemme in."

He gets up, shuffling to the door, pausing to wonder how the hell Niall remembered where his apartment was after only showing him once.

"'m coming.." His voice is low and sleepy; he was hoping he'd be able to take a nap before Niall showed up. /If/ he showed up, which he obviously had because standing infront of him was Niall dressed in a tank top, skinny jeans (not as skinny as Marcel's which makes Marcel wonder why /he/ had to buy the super skinny ones) and Supras.

"Did I wake you? Sorry." Niall says, shutting the door behind him. "You look good without glasses by the way. Are you wearing contacts?"

Marcel's hands fly up to his face, feeling around for his glasses.

"I, erm, I left them back in my room by accident." He doesn't mention how he hates how he looks without glasses.

Niall nods, flopping down on the couch.

"Well go get changed and we'll go!"

"Is that still happening?" Marcel all but groans.

"Yes. C'mon, aren't you the least bit curious as to why I wasn't at work for a week?"

"Can't you just tell me here? Social gatherings aren't my thing, Niall."

"No. C'mon it'll be fun. We'll go out, grab a few drinks, have a laugh! Besides, it'll just be the two of us, not really a social gathering."

"But there'll be people there.. Besides, I, erm.. I don't like alcohol."

"Well shit, Marcel, that's gonna have to change." He laughs but Marcel doesn't think that's funny at all. Why is Niall being so pushy?

But Marcel really likes Niall so he gets changed into his new clothes (black skinny jeans, black t shirt and his white converse) and quickly fixes his hair before going back outside.

"Ya ready?" Marcel nods so Niall stands up and ushers him outside the door.

"You won't regret this I promise."

'I hope not' Marcel thinks as he shuts the door behind them.

"The bars only a few blocks away from here." Niall says leading Marcel down the street.

This is news to Marcel, but then again it's not as if he ever goes out drinking. He asks Niall why he went AWOL but Niall just shrugs and says he'll tell him once their inside and that's the end of the conversation because Marcel doesn't really want to be outside and he's a little bit angry at Niall. He'd much rather be inside his warm apartment watching reruns of Friends. But no, he's outside where it's cold and there's strange people /everywhere/ and he can't help but feel self conscious.
