Lauren got out of her black corvette, and clenched her keys as she entered the hospital.
She walked in nervous as hell to see Camila. A woman in blue scrubs approached Lauren as she walked around looking for a map to the hospital, " Can I help you? " She politely asked.
Lauren quickly turned to meet with the lady, "Yes, Ma'am. Where's room 420?"
The lady took a deep breath as she remembered, " Uhhm, I'm sure it would be on the second floor to the left and keep going down, you should run into it. "
She thanked the lady and rushed to the elevator buttons starting to rapidly press them. When the elevator doors opened on the second floor, she made a left as the lady said, and found the room number.
Lauren took a deep breath before she placed her hand on the door knob to enter. She didn't know what she was about to do, but her heart was racing like hell and was almost starting to sweat. Lauren slowly pushed the door open, and stepped in quietly and closed it behind her.
The room was dark, but not too dark where she couldn't see anything.
Behind the curtain she could hear the heart monitor, and saw Dinah who was sitting on a nearby chair messing with her phone. And of course the beautiful Cuban girl who was laying on the bed asleep.
As Dinah looked up from her phone her eyes widened and cleared her throat. She slowly got up to stand in front of Lauren, " Hey... " Lauren spoke softly.
" She doing okay? " Lauren asked as they both looked at Camila. Dinah slowly nodded. She was still in shock that Lauren actually showed up.
" I'll give you and her a minute... " Dinah suggested as tears formed in her eyes. Lauren simply nodded, " Thanks "
Dinah rubbed her shoulder, and walked out of the room. Lauren stepped over to the side of the bed to get closer to the younger girl. She'd never seen someone so perfect and beautiful.
She'd also never seen such pain and abuse the girl got.
She gazed at Camila and watched her chest rise and fall. "You're so beautiful." Lauren whispered as she ran the pad of her thumb over the smaller girls bruise that had spread across her cheekbone.
Camila felt unknown touches on her skin. Her body shivered as the fingers felt so perfect. She slowly opened her eyes, and gazed deeply into the green orbs that were looking into her soul as they darkened with desire.
Camila's eyes widened and sat up as she realized who it was. Camila felt sore with the bruises and being hooked up to the monitors in the room.
She remembered those eyes. It was the one and only Lauren Jauregui.
" Hi... " The tall girl smiled as she spoke breaking the silence.
Camila's heart raced as the monitor beeped faster when she heard the raspy voice. Both girls giggled when the monitor blew up.
" Hi, Lolo. " Camila replied. Lauren was shocked when she heard her nickname.
" Hey, Camz... You doing alright? "
Camila nodded as she looked around.
" What happened? " Camila asked still confused, " Why am I here? " Lauren took a deep breath and grabbed the girls hand causing the monitor to
beep again.
" Austin... Beat you. You ended up
in a coma, camz. I swear I'm going to find him and have him behind bars as soon as I- "
Lauren was cut off by the smaller girl who reassured her, " Lauren, it's not your fault. " She rubbed the back of her palm with her thumb, and grew frustrated with what the younger girl said.
"Camz, he hurt you? Why won't you leave him? I can help you, alright? You can move in with me, or I can buy you your own house. You don't deserve this." She told her getting closer.
Camila looked up at the ceiling not knowing what to do or say.
" Thank god you're awake, mila! " Dinah shouted as her and Camila's doctor walked in on both girls.
"Excuse me, ladies. Am I interrupting?"
The doctor asked as she flipped through the papers that were on her clipboard. Lauren and Camila looked at each other for a brief moment.
Lauren squeezed Camila's hand and shook her head, " Not at all. "
" How're you feeling Mrs. Cabello? "
Camila sighed at the aching of her head.
" I have a headache, other than that I'm fine. " Camila told the doctor politely.
Camila's Doctor wrote on the clipboard and began, " We can give you medication for headaches or dizziness, otherwise you're being released, ma'am. " Lauren's eyes grew wide when she heard those words.
It'll give her an opportunity to take Camila home and away from Austin.
" Thank you! " All three girls said as she walked out.
" Dinah, is Camz staying with you? " Lauren immediately asked. Dinah looked at Camila because of the nickname Lauren had called her then back down to reply, "She's going home."
Lauren still hadn't let go of Camila's hand, but let go as soon as she heard that. " Camz, you can't. He'll hurt you again. Please stay with Dinah. "
Camila sighed. She reached over to grab Lauren's hand once again.
" Fine. For you. " Camila replied smiling.
As if in que Lauren's phone rang, and Camila's facial expression looked flushed. " I'll be right back. " Lauren spoke quickly as she walked out.
" Mila, she really cares about you. " Dinah continued, " Give her a chance! "
Camila giggled of the thought that Dinah really wanted her and Lauren together.
" I know, China. Im just really hooked on Austin. She doesn't like me like that. Although those eyes are mesmerizing. "
Camila told Dinah. As Dinah was about to reply Lauren interrupted.
" I've got to go. Duty calls. " Lauren told Camila as she grabbed the smaller girls hand to place a soft kiss on. Camila's cheeks tugged for a smile, but she didn't want Lauren to see.
" At 4 in the morning? " Dinah asked confused. " Yeah, something's wrong with the company. I'll text you, camz. "
Camila blushed and nodded when Lauren licked her lips as she said Camz. " Bye, Dinah. " Lauren and the girls exchanged goodbyes and made her way to the company.
