06. Taken

I stared into the darkness as Theo tower over me. I try to stare at him through the darkness but it is just so hard. I really wish that I made this decision this morning while I still had the chance.

"Maxine." Theo says as I heard footsteps getting closer and closer to me into the darkness. I close my eyes for a few seconds before reopening them.

I took a deep breathe before saying "Well....I didn't exactly choose yet. I didn't even think about yet since you gave me the options last night." I shrugged slightly in the darkness.

"Choose soon. I need to know as soon as possible" He spoken as he gotten closer to me more than ever. I shrug under myself getting more nervous and anxious then ever.

"Okay. Okay. I will just- just stop doing that." I says as I looked at him. I heard him did a simple chuckle into the darkness as I looked around getting nervous.

I can hear his footsteps getting closer to me and I am getting more nervous then ever. I closed my eyes as I try to not show anything else. "Doing what?" He asked making me feel even more worst then I already do.

"Walking near me so slow.....in a....dark room." I gulp slowly as I try so hard not to have a asthma attack with my 4th grade crush.

"You know.....you should go. Don't need to be late for your first class at the beginning of the Senior year." He says before opening the door so I can see the bright light. I nodded at him before going out.

I have no clue why he is pushing me so badly. I mean like...it's my decision to take in his offer or not. So why would he want to know so quickly or even badly. Well I guess that question is for another time. Right now,,I need to go to AP Biology.

I took out my schedule from my binder as I looked down at the room number. Before I even get a chance to look up I felt something as I bounce back a few times almost landing off of my feet. "Oh. Excuse Me. I'm sorry." I push my hair back as I looked up at the girl. She looks exactly my age. 18? Maybe even 19? She has dark brown eyes and light brown hair. I think she was...crying before I bump into her? I wish I knew what's wrong but she seems like one of those people who doesn't want to talk about it.

"It's fine. It was my fault,Maxine." She says with a slight shake to the head. My mouth turn into a bigger frown then before as I started at her in confusion as in how she knows my name.

"How did you-" I started but she just put her hand up as she close her eyes. It was as if she already know the question I was about to ask her.

"I was in your History 103 Class with You, Scott,Kira, and Stiles. Also with your sister Lily. She was basically my only friend for the past 3 years. I have always sit behind you at class but I guess you have never notice me....nobody have." She says with a slight smile to her lips as she look down at the floor.

I was speechless at the moment. Now I really feel bad for her but the only thing I am happy about is my sister. She was this girl friend when there was no one around and I am glad about that. "If....You were wondering. My name is Tracy."

My eyes widen a little bit starting to remember her a little bit. "Oh...Tracy Stewart,Correct?" I asked making sure I got the right name. She nodded with a smile on her face.

"Yeah." She says as she smiled at me even more. "I guess I see you in class later." She started off and I did a simple nod to it. She walked away on the distance I use to be standing in. I took a breather as I look at the time on my phone as My eyes got big.

"Dang. I am going to be late for class." I started running down the halls not caring of I get caught or not. Education comes first.
