I opened the door to my tent, taking in the outside world. Me and my family had gone camping in the Woodrow Forest. It was said to be a magical place. When I was a little girl I'd see fairies and wisps whisking around but my parents had never believed me for I was a mere child.

~Flashback~

I was wandering all over the place admiring the beauty, skipping when I went closer when suddenly "ELYSIUM GET AWAY FROM THE WATER" "Mommy, don't you see the fairies?" "Sweetheart, I don't have time for your games come on." She took my hand and dragged me off mumbling about an overactive imagination.

I ran around the dim forest. Fairies and wisps flew and floated around. I reached the water fall and gasped. Even as a child I understood beauty. And this, what I was looking at, was true beauty. Vines wrapped around trees and the water fell serenely. Fairies flashed by. Blue wisps floated above the water. I couldn't look away. I began to tear up. "No, mom look it's so pretty". She let out an exasperated sigh. I struggled and fought but i was only a child

~End of flashback~

I was still made fun of by my brother and classmates because I believed in those kinds of things. But i know what I saw, I know they're real.

I sat on a log. I had skipped class and my brother mother and father had tagged along. I had grown attached to these woods. I felt like someone was watching me but I ignored it. Ever since that day I had been feeling a tingling sensation every time i walked past or through the forest. Woodrow felt more like home than my house. I had forgotten about my family for a second.

"ELLI COME LOOK AT THIS FROG" my brother yelled. "I told you not to call me that James" All he did was grab my wrist and pull me along to see the slimy frog. I sighed as he pointed at it. A fairy flew by. "Hello" I said. The blue sparkly fairy smiled in return. James thought I was talking to the frog of course. "Frogs don't talk dummy" I shook my head and rolled my eyes. I went for a walk, leaving James alone to gawk at the frog. I followed a path and took in the nature. It was breathtaking even now. I walk past flowers and birds and wisps and I still couldn't fathom the words that described this place. The day ended and I had to go back home. Sadly. I packed my things and took down the tent. "Elysium, dear, are you ready?" Allison said. She was the nanny. Both of my parents had left early because of their jobs. I nodded and she drove us home. She pulled up into the our home's narrow driveway.

I woke up in my bed prepared for the day to come. I have been absent too much and my teacher was obligated to talk to my parents. I pushed off my blankets and got up. Pictures of Fairies, wisp, nymph, you name it and Woodrow forest scattered across my walls. I opened the door to my personal bathroom and turned on the shower.

After showering I got dressed and did my makeup. I put a new case on my phone and went downstairs.

I ate breakfast and walked out the door. I walked to school. When I showed up I heard nothing but the whispers of the other students going on and on about a post last night. I didn't really care much for social media...

I sighed and moved on... once in class I glanced around wondering if we were going to learn anything new today.

"HI! HELLO...OH SORRY DID I STARTLE YOU?!?!" Shouted a girl with two long golden braids, reaching up to her waist, her big bright emerald green eyes which somehow gave me the creeps blinking behind the huge glasses she wore. But the thing that most attractive were the ridiculously enormous braces around her teeth's.

"GA-AAH!!! YES, YES YOU DID" I said way too shocked to speak.

"Oh I'm sorry, Elysium" Linda shrugged "come on let's study for the quiz Mr. Gramber has planned out!!!... (SQUEAL)...Oh sorry!!!"
