I hugged my sister so hard, "Thank you for supporting me so much through this."
"Of course," I felt Melody's breath go down my neck.
"Paige Piper!" I heard a female voice call out.
"That feels so good," I said basking in the thought someone other than my family and friends saying my name.
"Get out there and become famous." Melody said starting to pull away. "I believe in you."
I smiled at her then looked out into the audience. I started to get nervous, and I know it showed on my face.
"Hey, sis" Melody said putting a hand on my shoulder. "You worked hard for this, and you deserve it."
I smiled at her and walked away, my violin in hand as I walked out gracefully head down. I got this, and no one is stopping me from my dreams.
I put my bow on the strings of the violin then I pulled down feeling a flurry of music.
The crowd cheered and hollered, "Paige! Paige! Paige!"
But my life hadn't always been in the spotlight, exactly the opposite. And my relationship with my sister wasn't what it was like now. It all started with a TV audition............
