lee chan's pov
For some reason, whenever I thought of her, my heart would start beating really fast and my stomach would twist. Minhyuk had noticed me looking back and forth at the girl few tables away, and he started to tease me... Which I found really annoying.
I stopped paying attention to him, when he started talking about Haneul again. "Today, I asked her out on a date, and she said yes!" I turned to look at him, and forced a smile before looking back at Jiseul's lonely face. She kind if looked mad and bothered at the same time, and I wondered if anything happened to her.
"Chan?" I looked at Minhyuk and he pointed the brown haired girl. "Why don't you go talk to her?" He gestured me to shoo, like he said himself, and took another bite of his fried rice. I stood up and went after Jiseul, who was walking out of the cafeteria. I threw my food on my way to the exit.
"Jiseul." She flinched and looked over her shoulder. She quickened her pace, but I was fast enough to be able to grab her arm, making her turn on her heels. Her long hair whipped my face as they swirled along with her.
She brushed my hand away, and stomped her foot on the ground. "Why can't people just leave me alone? Do I look that weak to you?" Her eyes were full of anger and her face was slightly red. "Just because I don't say anything that I'm not thinking or that I don't feel anything!"
She continued to rant and punched my shoulder, dropping her head. For a second, she didn't move but then, I heard sobs. "Ji-"
When she looked up, I saw tears running down her cheeks. And just like I did the first time we met, she ran away.
