The fact that this world was coming to an end, it was normal. Personally, I think that it was supposed to end long before the future ever caught up. Yet, I'd never expected it to go like this. Before a meteor hit the Earth, God appeared. He said, "Humans, an existence that should be forgotten and thrown away. An example of a wasted life and energy. However, it's such a waste of my time and effort I shall grant you one more chance to redeem yourself." What a pity, that's what our "God" truly thought-for he pitied us and our worthless civilization. Honestly, I saw this coming. When you create something with a mind of its own, it will slowly turn on you and become an example of your wasted time. At that time, God granted us something that we can only dream of achieving- power. Although the human race itself was probably going to end, he still gave us a chance. Do we really need powers? This is the one thing that destroyed us all. Yet here he is, God, in the flesh, granting us with power. Before giving everyone instructions on control and use of our powers, he disappeared.
