Lauren pov
"Hi Kendrick" I said smiling. His eyes lit up then died when he saw Keyonnie. She hid behind my leg.
"Whose at the - Oh hey Lauren" Malak said looking surprised. "Kendrick let them in" Malak said pulling Kendrick back, he got out his grip and ran upstairs.
"Kendrick !!" Malak called. "Its my fault, I'm sorry" I said. Malak rubbed my shoulder. I looked into his eyes and he smiled. "Its okay, hes still a mamas boy" I laughed. Keyonnie fake coughed. "Right! Malak this is my daughter Keyonnie" I said smiling. "Hi" she said smiling. "Hi" Malak said smiling. "You tired?" I asked Keyonnie. She yawned and nodded.
We are sleeping in the guest room so I carried our bags upstairs. I got Keyonnie settled. As I was walking downstairs I saw Kendrick in his room. He was on his stomach with his head down. He was sniffling. I just starred at him "go talk to him" Malak whispered. I nodded. I walked into his room and shut the door. He sat up and wiped his tears. "what do you want?" He asked glaring at me with his red eyes. "You look so much like your dad" He softened up. I sat down on his bed.
"You use to be my little baby"
"smiled when I talked, but I made a mistake and lost you, my baby boy" A tear fell from my eyes as Kendrick watched. "I'm sorry Kendrick, and I'm not asking you to forgive me, I heard you have my attitude and our bad temper, I know you wont forgive like your father has and I know seeing Keyonnie here breaks your heart, but baby boy I love you with all my heart and I never and I mean never forgot about you" I said holding his hands. He looked down. I kissed his forehead. "I love you baby boy" I got up and walked out.
