Hello, my name is Ginger Scott. I have green and gray eyes, a small nose, pale skin, and ginger hair. I am fifteen years old, and live in an apartment in New York. I live with my mom Carol, and cat Lacey. My dad passed away when I was six years old. It was really hard on my mom and I. I still cry about it from time to time but I have to stay strong for my mom.
I woke up on a cloudy Tuesday morning feeling extremely tired. I was up until 12:00 am working on my homework. I sluggishly got out of bed and went to brush my teeth. After I brushed my teeth I went to the kitchen for breakfast. I walked into the kitchen and saw that my mom had already prepared a breakfast of waffles, bacon, eggs, and fruit for me. I sat at the dining table with my mom and ate with her.
"Good morning." Said mom in an unusually cheerful voice.
"Good morning."
"Are you excited for school today."
"Yeah I guess."
"Cool."
After our short but sweet conversation I went to get ready for school. Today I decided to wear a black turtleneck, with a black skirt, black combat boots, and knee high socks. Once I was finished getting ready I played with my cat Lacey. Lacey is a very unique cat. She seems to be keeping an eye on us at all times. It's kind of comforting though. Knowing that she's here even if she can't really protect us.
When my mom finished getting ready we grabbed our bags and were off.
When I got to school the first person I saw was my best friend Zoey. Me and Zoey have been best friends ever since we were nine years old. Ever since we met we've been a dynamic duo. No one could ever tear us apart.
"Hey Ginger"
"Hey Zoey. How are you?"
"Good guess what."
"What." Zoey knows I hate guessing games.
"I'm going to New Zealand."
"W-w-wait what?"
"Look I know it's far away but I'll onky be gone for a month and we can call each other anytime."
"I guess."
"Good now lets get to class. Mrs. Roberts will have a fit if we're late."
