For the rest of the day I felt miserable. I couldn't stand the thought of Zoey leaving me behind. But I knew the only thing I could do was be happy for her.

When I got back home from school I saw a stack of moving boxes outside of our downstairs neighbor's apartment. On top of the stack was a strange looking book. The book was black with gold designs on the binding. I walked over to take a closer look when suddenly I heard a strange crashing sound coming from our apartment. I ran upstairs leaving the book behind.

When I walked through the door to our apartment I saw a broken flower pot on the ground and Lacey at the scene of the crime. I grabbed a broom amd started sweepimg up the mess.

After I had cleaned up Lacey mess I quickly did my homework the headed back downsatirs to check out the book. Whem I got downsatirs I saw that tje boxes were home but the book had been left on the floor I picked up the book amd looked for the title and the name of the author but there was nothing there. Suddenly the
book started vibrating and the room felt like it was spinning. Soon I was very dizzy and couldn't stand. I fell to the and then everything went black.

When I woke up I wasn't in my apartment building anymore. I was in what looked like an enormous library. With thousands and thousands of books thay looked like they hadn't been touched in years. Against my better judgment I went off to explore my strange surroundings.
