Chapter Eight

Liena's POV

"You really think they didn't have anything to do with this?! Look at you Liena, your forehead is busted open!" Matt yells.

"I'm not saying they had nothing to do with this, I'm just saying we don't know!" I yell back.

"Come on guys we don't have to do this" Jeff Says trying to push us apart. Matt pushes him back and he slides against the concrete floor. I push Matt as hard as I can.

"Don't touch him!" I scream.

"Don't you dare touch me" he growls getting back in my face.

"And what are you gonna do about it Matthew?" I taunt. He takes a deep breath, trying to calm himself down.

"Look, I think they knew about this. If you don't believe me then so be it" He sighs.

"Matt, Its not that I don't believe you. I'm just saying give them a chance" I sigh before pulling Jeff back up to his feet. We hear the door open and all turn our attention towards it to see The Shield. How did they know where we were?

"What do you guys want?!" Matt snaps. I turn back to him and glare at him.

"Can you just not?!" I snap back.

"Yeah, protect your little mutts Liena!" He yells pushing me slightly.

"Shut the fuck up!" I scream and push him again, as hard as I can. I feel a pair of strong arms wrap around my waist and lift me off my feet. Matt gets up and tries to run at me until Jeff Pushes him back.

"Stop this!" Jeff yells, looking back and forth at me and Matt.

"I can't do this anymore! Your on your own Liena!" Matt yells at me.

"No no no this can't happen!" Dean says.

"This is your guys fault! You've got her so brain washed its ridiculous!" Matt yells.

"Matthew. Please don't do this. The Hardy's have to stick together" I plead, feeling the tears form in my eyes. He sighs and looks up at me with saddened and tired eyes before walking away.

"No no no!" I yell fighting my way out of whoever was holding me. I run up to Matt and Jump in front of him as the tears begin to fall.

"You can't do this Matt. Remember what mom said. She doesn't want this job getting in between us. Please." I beg. He wipes away the tears with his thumbs, tears forming in his own eyes.

"I'm not saying we split forever. Just until you get your mind back where it needs to be. I love you Liena" he says before walking past me and back into the arena. This can't be happening right now.

"Matt!" Jeff yells, running up to me.

"He's gone. The Hardy's are no more." I say, my voice cracking a bit. I turn to Seth, Roman and Dean, anger taking over.

"I hope you guys are happy! I just lost my brother because of you three!" I yell.

"Li, I'm so sorry" Dean says beginning to walk towards me.

"Its done and over. Nothing you can do about it. Just stay away from me" I say before turning to head back inside. I just want to get back to the hotel, rent a new room and go to sleep.

The Hardy's are done. For now, or maybe for good.
