I was too hot. Claudia’s house was so warm, I couldn’t breathe. Maybe just maybe, it was because my mother packed me the only pair of FLUFFY PYJAMAS in my entire house! I tossed, I turned, I took off the blankets, I paced the room but I was still just too hot. What did I do you ask? I did the only thing I could do; I stripped. Not the whole way, mind, bra and knickers still on me, fluffy pyjamas on the floor (Poor floor, those pyjamas would make a penguin sweat). I was still hot, but I managed to fall asleep and had sweet dreams of little penguins in my pyjamas…

When I awoke it was still dark outside. I thought at first that it was because my sheets were soaked but then I realised with alarm that it was absolutely bursting to go to the bathroom, I stumbled around the room looking for my pyjamas but I couldn’t hold it any longer, I sprinted out the door, past Claudia’s room, past her brothers’ room, all good so far, then I with horror, I sensed (yes, sensed, don’t judge me until you’ve run starkers through someone else’s hallway.) movement in the boys’ room, I ran even faster, my eyes fixed on the door-

SHMACK!!!

(Yes, I say “sh” instead of “s“, its quite entertaining, especially when you have to say sitting room, very funny, but this was not.)

I turned slowly and saw the most horrendous, disgusting thing my eyes had ever laid eyes on. Mr. Walsh, Claudia’s father was standing in front of me, his stomach still jiggling from our collision ( As, I said, Claudia was full elephant.) he was equally confused and equally naked as myself. He screamed and I screamed and we screamed together, which obviously, woke everyone else in the house. He made a dash for the bathroom at the same time as I did, we smacked into one another again, I wanted to be sick, he must’ve too because the last I saw of him was his violently wiggling (Seriously, how was he not falling over?!) backside as he slammed the door shut.

Oooh, I really needed to pee, I danced around outside the bathroom, my bladder threatening to explode, all my elephant parts bouncing around, then I heard a snort of laughter from behind me, I turned to see, Claudia, Claudia’s two brothers, Claudia’s mother, Claudia’s aunt Lizzie, her cousin Jimmy, Jimmy’s sister Eliza, and his brother, Shane all laughing at me, in fact laughing so hard they couldn’t stand up straight, it was like the end of a Peppa Pig show, where they all lie down in muddy puddles, laughing their heads off, oh, and to top it all off, I peed myself!

Moral of the story: Never, no matter how hot you are, strip in a friends house or breakfast the next morning will not be pleasant…
