Chapter 3

Maya's POV
I was in my room getting ready to go to IHOP,It was 5:50am so I still had about 40 minutes to get ready,I go inside my bathroom to take a shower after that I go into my room,put on black leggings,I put on a strapless Victoria secret bra and a opened sided tank top,I put my hair up in a bun,I put some Chapstick.
After that I check the time it's 6:27 so I head downstairs to wait for Lucas outside my house.
I'm outside sitting on my steps waiting for Lucas I should've brought a sweater it's so cold and I forgot my sweater inside and I forgot my keys to,I see Lucas and his car he stops right in front of my house.
I start walking to Lucas car I get in the passengers seat and close the door.
"Hey beautiful"he says
"Hi cowboy"I say and kiss his lips softly
But he still managed to kiss back.
"Are you ready for some pancakes?"he asked
"Yeah I am"we start driving to ihop and I start to shiver a little.
"Hey Maya are you cold"he asks
"Yeah I forgot my sweater"I say
Lucas starts taking of his black nike sweater.
"Here put it on"he says
"Aren't you going to get cold"I say getting closer to him i hold his hand.
"As long as I'm with you I'll always be warm."he said and gave me a quick kiss on the lips.
When we got to ihop me and Lucas wait on a booth across from each other,we got our main Course breakfast and then Lucas got me heart shaped pancakes.
"Are you enjoying the breakfast"said Lucas
"Yeah I am"I said I got some whip cream and put it on his nose.
"Oh it's on hart"he said and sat next to me he put whip cream on his lips and started kissing me all over my face.
"Stop please"I said laughing
"Maya"he said
"Yeah"I said
"Will you be my girlfriend?i now its quick but I've never felt this way with a girl before I remember back in Texas when I didn't kiss you I should have kissed you because I loved you since 8th grade I know you might think I'm not being serious because I usually just play with girls but with you it's different so will you be my girlfriend"I was shocked I thought of Riley but for the first time even my happiness was first,I did something I kissed Lucas.
"Is that a yes"he asked
"What do you think baby"I said
"I think that kiss and baby is a yess I know it's early but I love you Maya"he said
"I love you to Lucas"I said back
He kissed me and I kissed back after the kiss he reached into his pocket and got out a pandora ring it had a princess crown.
"Here for my princess"he said and put the ring on me
"It's symbol of our love as long as you have it with you our love will be alive and if you loose it just know your still my princess"he says I start crying
"Why are you crying babe"he asks
"Because no one has treated me like this well, I love you Lucas"I said and jumped in his arms and kissed him.
After we ate breakfast it was time for school the real challenge was telling Riley Lucas saw my face so he grabbed my hand as we walked into school.
"If she doesn't understand we love each other you still have me babe"he said and kissed me I kissed back
"I love you will you come with me to tell her"I ask
"Anything for my princess"he said and grabbed my hand.
