Katy the Kitty. (Book three to lucy and the lion.)

Classes begin today. Im scared.

Katy's POV

Today is the first day of school. My first day in a real school. Guess I have to get ready.

I went to my dresser and pulled out one of the uniforms. It was a blue and white sailor outfit. (Like the ones girls wear in anime.) I put it on and it didn't look terrible like I thought it would. It's actually pretty cute. I tied a blue bow at the end of my tail to match my uniform and put my collar on. After that I brushed my hair and combed through the fur on my ears and tail. Then put on my three inch high heel boots that were ankle high and blue.

"How do I look?" I asked Isis who was also wearing her uniform that looked just like mine. She had on shoes similar to mine and her long blue hair up in a ponytail with her moms yellow bow tied around it.

"You look great. What about me?" Isis asked.

"Beautiful as always.",

"Alright then. Are we ready for the first day of school?"

"Ready as I'll ever be."

"Lets go meet Tanner then and head to the cafeteria for breakfast."

"K" I said we left the room.

As we walked to the tree outside the school where we had chosen to meet Tanner we saw lots of people running around getting ready for school. When we got to the tree I saw Tanner and Hunter there waiting for us. Thankfully no Mizu.

"Hey guys ready for school?" Isis asked.

"We're ready. A little nervous though." Tanner said.

"I meant to ask yesterday but I forgot to. How are you gonna survive the human world for a year Katy? I've only ever heard of one spirit that could last that long." Hunter said.

"That one spirit was my dad an it was three years. I can't last that long though. The king put a spell on me so that I can stay the year without a problem."

"Cool. So you should have no problems then. But you're saying that your dad was the one who stayed here three years without disappearing forever."

"Yep."

"Wow that's pretty cool." Hunter said. Suddenly we heard a bell ring really loud.

"Oh no that's the five minuet bell! Run!" Isis said.

Isis grabbed mine and Tanners arm and dragged us inside. Hunter followed us but left when we passed the classroom he was supposed to be in.

When we walked into our classroom, math class, all the other kids were already there and talking very loud. Which bothered my sensitive ears.

"Class please quiet down!" The teacher said. The blackboard said that his name is Mr. Howell. "Our new students are here."

The class instantly went silent. They all looked at us and then at me. Suddenly whispers broke out through the class. I was able to hear what they were saying even though Isis and Tanner couldn't.

"What is with that girl?" One asked.

"Does she have ears and a tail? So weird." Another said.

"Class I said be silent!" Mr. Howell said. The class went silent again. "I know most of you were here last year but this is the first year for these kids so lets make them welcome. Please tell everyone your names you three and a bit about you." Mr. Howell said. I hid behind Isis as usual.

"I'm Isis. My favorite color is ice blue and I'm an ice wizard." Isis said.

"I'm Tanner and I'm a water wizard." Tanner said. I poked my head out from behind Isis but not the rest of me.
