"I don't know what's going on with him Miranda." My mother whispered into the phone, I was sat on the staircase listening in on her conversation; it was obvious it was about me anyway.
"He's been skipping school Miranda, that doesn't sound like my Darren. Yeah just missing a class is different he's missed three whole days this week and its only Thursday."
She nodded and glance towards the clock. "Ill be waking him up now and I'm going to be dropping him off at the school," She paused.
"Okay, thank you Miranda, I'll talk to you later."
I turned and bolted back up the stairs and back into bed.
I wanted to feel bad about her being so confused about what's going on with me, but I can't tell her because she won't understand.
No one will understand.
