Chapter Eleven

[Charlie's POV]

I'm a blaze Werewolf. I cannot get over the initial shock of such a revelation.

"OMG Char, I knew you were special" Nicole squealed. I couldn't help but think that she squeals a lot, doesn't she? I smiled and turned around to face her, deciding to forgive her for her earlier behaviour, but I could not blame her because if I was her, I would be curious to know why someone's eyes were so different, but now that she knows the real reason why, she seems very happy about it.

I nodded at her, "Thanks", I said in an almost inaudibly quiet voice. I then turned to Alpha Tom and suddenly felt worried. What if the Alpha didn't want such a breed of werewolf in his pack anymore? Would he banish me from the pack? My earlier fears of being unworthy of a place in a pack came crashing back? What if he was like my old Alpha? I decided that the only way to find out was to ask him.

"So I'm still accepted into the pack?"

The Alpha looked at me in disbelief then he smiled, "Of course. It would be an honour to have Blaze Werewolf." It was an honour to have me, Charlotte Adams, the girl who was hated by her only family that she had left?

"It doesn't matter if you are special or not. We would still accept you sweetheart" the Luna spoke and when I looked up, I saw that she actually meant what she just said. I couldn't believe it. I now had a real family; Nicole, Emily, Alpha Tom, Luna Julia and my darling mate, Evan. OMG, EVAN?! I totally forgot about him.

"Course you did" my wolf said, mocking me.

I then turned around to see Evan looking very angry. I didn't know what to do. Should I kiss him? What do I say? Should I try to comfort him? Surely there was something you had to do when your mate was this angry.

Whilst I was having a mental war, I had not yet identified if it was with my head or my wolf, I felt Evan's grip on my hand loosen and I instantly felt cold. I took a step closer to him and then he asked in a calm but very angry voice,

"Who was you other MATE?!" He screamed

His anger seemed uncontrollable and I cowered back in fear, afraid that he might lash out at me.

Maybe I was just thinking too much into the future? I will never be good for him. I will never be good enough for anyone. I was worthless. I looked up and stared straight into his eyes whilst mustering up the courage to answer his question.

"Um... H-h-h-h-he w-w-was in my o-o-o-old pack." I started, seeing that his shaking had gotten much worse as soon as I spoke those words. I then looked down, unable to meet his eyes as what I said next still left me feeling unsure of myself and didn't want Evan to see the various emotions flooding through my face.

"He rejected me" I finished, not daring to look up. It was then quiet, so quiet that you could hear a pin drop. I dared not look up but I noticed that Evan's body was not shaking uncontrollably. In fact, his body was not shaking at all. I looked up expecting to see disgust written all over his face, but what I saw pleasantly surprised me. He was grinning like a madman.

There was surely something wrong with him and his sister as their mood swings are so random that you never know what they are going to do next. I opened my mouth to question him on his sudden happiness before he pulled me out of the library stating that we have something to talk about urgently.

I followed him, jogging to try to keep up with his fast paced walk. He led us up the grand staircase of the pack house and up to the rooms; to the bedroom opposite Nicole's room. As soon as I opened the door, I saw that the walls were a white colour and the floor was a sort of wooden colour. I took a few steps into the room, seeing the bed which was situated in the middle of the room which had beige coloured spread sheets and-

"Are you gonna sit?" Evan asked, making me stop my careful observation of his rather large room.

He then patted the seat next to him and I noticed that I could see all of his features up close from where I was sitting directly beside him.

He looked just like a younger version of his father as they both shared the brown hair which looked soft and it was as though it was screaming for me to touch it. But unlike his father, he had grey-blue eyes but they too were beautiful, like his father's eyes. My eyes trailed down to his lips which were full and kissable.

"His face is carved by an angel" I concluding, and my wolf purred in excitement at the thought.

"So, I'm guessing your name is Charlie?" he asked shyly, being the first one to break the comfortable silence. He sounded like a young boy who was talking to his crush.

I nodded at that and added, "Charlotte. But you can call me Charlie." I said in a quiet voice, suddenly feeling very self-conscious so I turned in the opposite direction. His hands immediately came to my face cupping my cheeks. He turned me back to face him and look into his beautiful grey-blue eyes.

"You are mine. Don't look away from me", he spoke softly, inching closer to me as he spoke. I closed my eyes, afraid that my eyes would betray me and show how inexperienced I was at all of this. The next thing I know, I'm kissing Evan. Our lips fit perfectly and we moved in sync...
