Chapter Four

[Charlie’s POV]

“Shut up Nick and Nathan” a voice said as soon as I woke up.

“Oh! Lookie she is waking up” another male voice reached my ears.

It sounded as though both voices were coming from behind me but I did not dare turn around till I knew where I was.

So I asked, "Where am I?” to no one in particular, as I knew that the two male voices that I heard were bound to hear me.

“You are in the Crimson Blood pack’s territory. Who are you and what do you want?”  I dared to turn around as I was asked the questions in harsh tone, only to come face-to-face with a green-eyed boy with black hair.

His eyes and face were void of any expression so I could not be certain that he spoke in such a sharp tone because he didn’t like me. But I knew that I had to give them an answer

so I shook those thoughts out of my head, “I-I-I ran away from my pack” I answered, knowing that I sounded scared. But after all, I was bound to sound scared because I was a rouge and they could kill me.

“Jake! Look at her hand!” a boy with blonde hair and chocolate brown eyes which made him look so cute said loudly to get the attention of the black-haired guy, whilst pointing at the beatings I received today from Melissa

Before I could dwell on the memories of the previous horrid events of the day, another boy who looked exactly like Blondie spoke to the black-haired guy “She’s hurt Jake”

Blondie 1 came up to me then and offered me hand to shake, “Hi, I’m Nick, and this is Nathan. We’re twins!”

I smiled and responded, “Hi, my name is Charlotte and…” but before I could finish and shake his hand, I felt weak and my vision was clouded with black spots, and my head felt like it was going to explode as it hit the hard ground!
