Chapter #4:

"Have a good day, Miss!" Philip yelled through the open window, as I closed my door to the limousine.

"I will!" I yelled back, waving my right hand. I was now wearing the long, yellow dress all the other girls were wearing the day before and my left hand held my violin case and my briefcase. My golden hair was pulled up in a part ponytail.

Philip nodded once and turned his attention back to the road. He drove out of the circle drive and allowed the limousine behind him to pull up.

I spun around to face the glittering, pink Ouran Highschool. Groups of girl giggled behind their hands, probably about the Host Club. An image of the boys who called themselves a Host Club popped into my head.

Who wouldn't talk and giggle about them? I thought as I walked up the steps to the school. They're amazing.

"Ava-Chan!"

I turned slightly to the voice and looked over my shoulder to the owner of the high-pitched voice.

"Honey!" I exclaimed in surprise while the short boy ran up the stairs next to me. Following close behind him was Mori, making no noise.

"Let me help you with your briefcase, Ava-Chan!" Honey sang, reaching for the briefcase in my left hand.

"Are you sure? It might be too-" I gave Honey my briefcase and he tried lifting mine and his at the same time. He could barely lift them off the ground. "-heavy..."

A hand reached down and picked up the briefcases. "Mitsukuni, let me carry it."

I looked up to see Mori carrying all three briefcases; his included. The girls around us watched in awe and squealed as Honey smiled cutely at Mori, thanking him.

The blond boy turned back to me and - suddenly serious - asked, "Ava-Chan, is there something wrong?"

I blinked. "Why do you think there's something wrong, Honey?"

"Your eyes." Honey kept his gaze with me. "They're full of sadness."

Are they? I-I didn't know...Is it about that memory that came into my head yesterday? I thought, but surprisingly found myself saying, "What do they say, Honey?

Honey looked surprised and opened his mouth to speak. At that exact moment, the large clock rang out, alerting all students with special classes, like drama or...

...music.

My violin case became heavy in my hand and I tore my gaze away from Honey, saying, "I'd better get to class."

"We'll walk you there." Honey said, returning back to cute-form and grabbing my hand. He started into the school and I, still hearing Honey's words rattle in my head, followed.

The second the clock chimed that school was over, all the girls hurried their stuff in their briefcases and pulled makeup out of their purses. They had about thirty minutes to prepare for the Host Club.

Well, all of them except one girl.

I shoved my books in my briefcase and picked up my violin case. I began to walk to the door, but was halted by two pairs of arms around my arms.

"Miss Reese, why don't you join us today at the Host Club?!" Hikaru and Kaoru exclaimed in perfect unison.

I wiggled out of their grip and turned to face them. Haruhi had joined behind them, but with a "I Don't Wanna Be Here" look on his face.

Now that I looked more closely, Haruhi's eyelashes seem pretty long for a boy-

My thoughts were interrupted by Kaoru exclaiming, "I know! Let's play the "Which One Is Hikaru?" Game!"

"The what?" I asked, completely dumbfounded, since not only two seconds ago, I was thinking about how Haruhi looked like a girl.

"The game is simple." The twins said, pulling two matching hats - which came from literally nowhere - on their heads. "You try and figure out which one of us is Hikaru. If you win, we'll grant you one wish. If you lose," They grinned devilishly. "You'll have to visit the Host Club everyday!"

Heh, too bad for them. I was already gonna do that. I thought, a sweat-drop appearing on my head. One wish, huh?

"Alright! Deal!" I exclaimed, surprising Haruhi and the twins slightly, even though they were the ones who suggested it. I held out my right hand.

Kaoru reached out and shook my hand. In the very instance he did, I smirked. Gotcha.

"Now," They spun around in a small circle; arms linked; and stopped. It seemed as though they hadn't moved at all. "Which one of us is Hikaru!?"

I crossed my arms and stared at the two of them intently. Then, my eyes averted to their hands, which were linked together and gripping their hats. I recognized the nail-polish I had chipped off when I shook Kaoru's hand. A small flake of pink nail-polish rested on Kaoru's right wrist.

I looked back at Hikaru. His face was impassive, but it seemed as though his eyes were begging for me to pick him. Something scratched in the back on my head, wanting me to remember, but...

I couldn't.

"Your Hikaru!" I exclaimed, pointing to Hikaru dramatically.

Their faces were instantly surprised and Haruhi's face lit up like a new light bulb.

"B-but how?!" Kaoru asked, his hand dropping from his hat, taking the hat with it. "No one's ever been able to win, except for Haruhi."

I smirked, and grabbed Kaoru's hand, showing them the nail-polish. Their faces grew with understanding, and Kaoru laughed, "Wow! We've been outsmarted, Hikaru!"

Hikaru looked at me and I looked back at him. He smiled lightly and replied, "Yeah. I guess we did."

"Now," Kaoru gave me a one wink smile. "What is your wish, milady?"

My wish popped into my head, almost like another memory, but this one I had just created.

I looked up at the twins ans Haruhi, who were waiting patiently. I smiled sadly and said softly, "I would like for your servants to search up Evangeline Reese. Anything having to do with me or a boy named Darrin Kendra, I would like to be sent to me."

I picked my briefcase and violin case back up, and started walking to the door.

"That is my wish."

Hikaru, Kaoru, and Haruhi watched Evangeline leave out the door and to the Host Club, where Honey would most likely be waiting for the blond. Hikaru's eyes were shadowed by his hair, his lips in a straight line.

I'm sorry....Ava....
