Once my latest Client Georgia left I returned to my desk sitting down in the thick black leather chair. I couldn't help but admire the way that Georgia looked, she reminded me of someone I lost so long ago. Her hair was dark brown, long with curls on the end, her eyes were a matching deep brown with a hint of amber flecks running through. Her ears were small and her facial features were so strong just like hers. She wore suttle makeup that helped her face become more sharp in her features and to help the amber flecks in her eyes more obvious to someone else's eye.

However, as I sat still in my chair I couldn't help but think about the oldest book I have stored away in the drawer within my desk. It was the closest thing to my heart, so I always kept it close. The book was old, you could tell by the way the leather was more tough and more marked up with scratch marks and rab patches. You could also tell that the book had been read so many times by the damage of the spine, it was so badly bent with the creases. It was a book that I could never bring myself to throw away, it was a part of my past and an important one more than anything.

I opened the rough book to the first page, revealing a picture of me and Ella. Looking at the picture now, you could obviously see that I was younger and that Ella was my love. The love we shared for one another flowered brightly between our eyes as we looked at one another. Georgia looked so much like Ella. The memory of this picture however, stood clear within my memory like it was yesterday.

'I had just finished my shift at the local hospital and Ella was waiting for me just across the road from the entrance like every time I finished my shift. We decided to go out for a while, so we both agreed that we would go to the mall. Upon entering the mall Ella noticed straight away that a dark blue and white photo booth stood just at the side of a closed shop. I was practically dragged towards the booth to take photos. As soon as the camera started I was commanded to pull funny faces, and to be honest I didn't care either as I would have done anything for her. My favourite picture had to be the only serious one, the one where I just acted out. I turned Ella to face me before slowly leaning, kissing her lightly on her smooth lips as the camera snapped the picture. It was the best day that we had together.'

I felt so appalled with myself. How could I just leave her like I did. I forgot all about the airport. I was so busy with everything. I couldn't stand it now. Half the time I looked within this rough book I skipped the first page with the picture of both of us, it hurt me so much. So in my angered state, directed at myself, I closed the book and placed it back neatly within the large drawer pulling out my tablet at the same time. I turned on the tablet, swiped the screen to unlock it and clicked upon the internet. I had to know if she was. So I typed the name I hadn't written in so long, Ella Molsa. I clicked upon a link towards a facebook page. My reaction to reading those seven words, caused my heart to drop and my body to become numb.

'R.I.P Ella Molsa. You will be missed more than anything.' I was just shocked more than anything. I couldn't stand to look with those seven words along side the picture of Ella. I powered down the tablet before I left my office walking, more like rushing, in the direction of my personalised kitchen. As soon as I was inside the elegant kitchen I made my way towards the wine fridge, near enough yanking the door open before I pulled out my most favourite wine called 'Maya' which was from Nape Valle. As I walked passed the glass cabinet I gentle pulled out one of the prestine wine glasses. I walked straight through and into the neatly organized dining room where I sat down, opened the bottom of wine, poured myself a drink and basically gulped it.

It didn't take me long to finish the bottle so I made my way back towards the kitchen just before Will walked in. As soon as he walked into the room I knew immediately that something was bothering him. He began to pace up and down the strip of kitchen, mumbling something along as he carried on pacing for a further five minutes leading up to his question.

"Hannibal who was that woman that came in? She looked at me weirdly." He asked me with a hint of, I believe, fright laced within every word.

"Her name was Georgia Molsa. She's a new client of mine, she starts next week. Also Will I don't believe she looked at you funny but, you have to think about what you were doing?"

"I don't remember Hannibal. All I can mainly remember was her face looking at me before everything sort of went blank, its worrying because I don't understand why."

"Will just forget about it, you're more than likely not going to see her again."

"That is more than likely true."

"Will can you also do me a favour?"

"Yeah Hannibal, what is it?"

"Can you please look into a woman called Ella Molsa for me, she was an old friend from a long time ago. I just found out that she recently died."

"Yeah I can do that Hannibal . . ." Will was interrupted from his sentence by the ring of his phone. He answered the phone turning away from me as soon as he heard the callers voice. After finishing his call quiet quickly he turned back around to myself, telling me exactly what just happened over the phone.

"I have to go. It was Jack on the phone, he has a new case he would like to look at. I'll see you tomorrow." With those few words Will was rushing out the door and on to the new crime scene, where ever it may be.

However, I couldn't concentrate on Will, on my work or on anything else for that matter except for one thing. That one thing was the worst mistake of my life, I know this for a certain fact. All I could think about was how I hadn't turned up to meet Ella at the airport, I should have and I knew that but I was so busy.

I need a distraction and now. It will help get rid of the lingering thought. So I did what I usually done when in these kind of situations, I looked through the cards list I had. While looking through I believe I chose the correct one for the job, he kind of short and chubby plumber if I remember correctly. I knew my plan already as it just played itself out within my mind, like a film projector playing an old piece of film.

I walked over towards the kitchen sink, bending down slightly to open the cupboard doors so that I could reach the pipes. I slowly worked the slip nut lose enough to help pull the pipe out slightly. I left the door slightly open while I leaned over the sink to turn the tap on, which showed that my plan worked perfectly well. The water was now nicely flowing out of the gap and onto the cupboard bottom. I could now call the plumber and get ready for my nightly activity. I'm glad I called him really, as I was running out of stock as it was.
