What Happened To Caring?

I woke up yawning.
I slept at Jades "house" of course.

All of the things that have occured in the past few hours really got to me.

Charles insisted Jade bring me to his home. Lucky me I still had time to spend with her.

"Jade!!! JADEY!!!" I yelped.

"What the heck Zara? I was resting.." She trails off. I can't really help it. Soon I would have to go and who knows what else was going to happen.

"Let's do cheesy bff things." I say.

"Ughhhhhhhh..."

"Pleasseeeee???"

"Fine."

She throws her covers off of her legs and get up snatching her brush from her nightstand.

"You know I love you right?" I ask.

She only grunts in response.

"How about going to the human world?" She eyes me with a smirk.

"We can go to the human world?!"

"It's kind of as you could say not allowed buuuut since your mate is of high importance we will pull some strings."

"Yay! Starbucks and food here we come."

Charles P.O.V (Surprise)

I met my soulmate last night. She was wearing a beautiful dress that complimented her curves.

You would think I would be calm in that situation judging by the way I acted.

Wrong.

I had to use every muscle in my body to keep me from doing things to her.

I am not some gross hyena looking at it's pretty so don't get me wrong. But it was definitely an issue trying to compose myself around my beautiful.

I was glad Lucifer didn't want her because now she was mine.

She was really always mine but imagine how hard it would be to make her mine if she loved someone else.

Heck, imagine how big if an issue it would be to take her from him period.

It's complicated.

"Oi? Charlie .. CHARLES!"

I didn't realize I was out of it until now.

"Oh... Sorry Luk?" I said sighing.

"It's whatever bro. What is her name? I asked that question four times..."

"Zara."

He nods.

"Your majesty, two female individuals just went through the portal to the human world. " One of the guards says out of breath.
